This Gerrard can win Liverpool the title bollox is horrendous for villa fans, we're like a side show to great Liverpool winging team. People then wonder why villa fans are losing their passion for the club, its an absolute abomination of an appointment.

He needs to be playing higher up the pitch and making runs through the opposition. Sitting deep and spraying balls around , playing neat little one twos, 30 yard out side the opposition's box is exactly what they want to see. He's causing them minimal problems. Imagine trying to stop him in the box , it would cause real issues for defenses and bring us free kicks,. penalties and goals. Beundia does exactly what I want to Coutinho doing, be a pain in and around the box.

Burnley let us have the ball outside of the box knowing Pope would likely save any shots from out there. We was confined to high balls, crosses, in from the full backs, Burnley just defended them well. We had the occasional long ball in on counters , which we eventually scored from. Dreadful football really , especially with the players we have. Bertie had the best chance from a header for us , Pope pulled off a world class save but Ming's blocks a shot that was into an open goal as well. We are so one dimensional and simple to play against , I can see a DM helping us defensively but we look clueless going forward, slow and devoid of any ideas. It going to take a major turn around for us to improve next season and if I'm honest I see big holes in Gerrard and his back room teams ideas and tactics.
