Stronger squad than last year and the results are shocking , if we can't beat Norwich at home then it's a clear sign Gerrard isn't going to cut it , it's that simple. I think sacking Smith, after season on season improvents, showed the owners intentions and I can't see Purslow or Gerrard surviving another 2 losses in the next 2 games. It's the same brush that swept Smith away that will sweep Purslow and his mate away. The fans will turn , they already are with tickets going on general sale. The atmosphere is completely different , even when Smith was losing games there was hope, that's disappeared. Smith's time was up, Gerrard wasn't ready, Purslow fucxed up. Next.

Certain fans see what others don't? You see what you want to, I see a team that's completely lost its way on and off the pitch. It doesn't help listening to him talking about Liverpool v city pre match, the whole situation is a fuxking joke and I ain't laughing.

He has to get a win in the next 3 games, no excuses. Didn't like the appointment in the beginning and nothing has changed , saw his pre match interview and he thinks Liverpool and Man City are evenly matched, Purslow should be sacked.

Have a feeling we won't lose this, not sure why maybe it's the law of averages. Lost faith with this season tbh, sooner it's over its the better for me , every game is becoming a chore. Hopefully next season we can improve and give us fans something to get excited about, at the moment it's all pretty shit.

They told the security guard what they was doing. It's easy for us to comment on here and say what's right or wrong but with hindsight doing nothing , for me , would have been the right thing to do. If I was there at the time I would have probably asked them if they had ever kissed a girl ( or boy)

Idiots they are but it would be a pretty shit video if no one said anything to them and just let them get on with filming while just keeping a close eye on them. The police turning up with twos and blues on was a bit much as well , especially four officers. But saying that only two of the officers that turned up would be fit enough to catch anyone if they run away so I guess that answers that.

SG needs to change something. Either the formation, the players in it or who plays where in the system. McGinn cannot play DM again, it was a ridiculous idea. Maybe bring a youngster in or push a defender up into the DM position, Chambers?

There's a time limit they can go back to , think it's 1 or maybe 2 years. They tried for all of it though, I just said no follow the rules . I paid about a third of it.

Make sure you have a meter reading as close to the 1st of April as you can I went 3 years with no gas bill and then all of a sudden they wanted £3000. Got knows what it would be at these rates.

We improved season on season. Until this season when we are not going to get anywhere near what we did last season despite upgrading the manager and spending £200m

The first transfer window under Gerrard has been poor, we have purchased a left back for £30m, he's not much of an upgrade on the one we had and loaned a player, who although he can be class in certain games, it's stopped us developing our own players and put us in a position of having to pay extortionate wages to keep him. The warning signs are there already I'm afraid. He's playing a system the current players can't seem to play and pissing them all off to boot with post match comments blamming them and destroying any confidence they have. Can't believe how fast we are falling apart and we have seen this all before and it doesn't end well. My guess is the owners will pull the plug on Purslow if the results and or the performances don't improve by the end of the season. Smith had run his course but Gerrard was a huge gamble and its plain to see he's struggling.

When they was on song Smith's team played better football, our game against Man U early in the season was arguably our best performance this season. We have needed a DM for many seasons and not got one and when we did have one we never played him enough to see if he could cut it. Recruitment is poor across the whole system, not in the individual players. We have so many players all trying to do the same thing. Coutinho and Buendia, Bert and Bailey. Ings and Watkins . Doug and McGinn. When the system fails we have no plan B and to cap it all Gerrard appears to losing faith in most of the players. I believe they will return the complement and want out and throw Gerrard and us into the shit. If this season fails and we continue to play this badly then surely we can't back Gerrard and risk the whole project. It's was a gamble and its odds look longer now than they did when he came in. We need to improve before the end of the season before we blindly back him.

I agree give him time but.......he brought our best midfielder off today( that's not saying alot) Sansom, and that's worrying.

But these players have shown they can perform at a higher level than what they are now, they are underperforming and that's the issue. Buendia changed the game when he came on but it was to late. Sansom should not have been brought off, he was influencing the game more than the other midfielders. These are errors that need to be addressed. Sansom should start the next game, my guess is he won't.

He needs game time and a system that gives us more possession, might not work out but he needs a chance he obviously got the talent .

He needs to play about with forward line during the game and earlier when it's not working and it was clear after the first half that it wasn't. Our forward play largely consisted of a ball over the top from Ming's. If the games not going our way the manager needs to be able to change it. The top managers do......like Croatia and Italy did against England , they see the games not going their way and they work out a way to change it. Gerrard should at least be trying to change it and he's not .

How can you say Gerrard takes no blame and then note that Coutinho was quiet and Buendia was great for the 10 minutes he had. Buendia was playing well when he was dropped a few games ago, it's obvious he needs to play yet Gerrard fails to see it. Same as Sansom, he looked really tidy and was growing into the game more and more yet he gets pulled off while Ramsey and McGinn get left on, they were clearly struggling after so many games and the internationals. Gerrard makes mistakes, its expected , he needs to learn from them though and I'm not sure he is.

Sansom going off was a ridiculous decision. We look like we have never played with each other and world class players look like championship players.We can't change a game with our subs either it's like watching a slow motion car crash.

Cahill was clearly better than what we had (imo) , he was a different class CB who could actually play with the ball. He wanted guaranteed football and MON wouldn't give him that. It was a clear error at the time to most of the fans I spoke to .
