  1. Fright Night I don't know how she does it? Morning Glory One Day Where the wild things are 127 Hours Limitless Pig hunt
  2. not surprising were struggling, we are currently effectively playing with only 4 Batsmen with our numbers 4 and 5 contributing nothing, and of the other 4 strauss hardly inspires confidence. so if the other 3 fail to make huge contributions we're buggered
  3. I hope Scotland doesn't become Independent of the rest of the UK, An Awful lot has been contributed to the UK from north of the boarder, and being part of the UK has provided benefits for Scotland, both Countries have benefited and contributed through our Union. But It's for the Scots to decide how they want to move forward, I just hope any decision is based on reasoned and objective arguments and not anti English sentiment stoked by personnel ambition, admittedly England's sometimes patronising, dismissive and often antagonising (especially historically) attitude to the other 3 areas of the UK hasn't helped to prevent this development. If Scotland chooses to go it alone I can understand why even if I think it might be the wrong choice, but good luck to them if they do.
  4. from what I understand, shares are generally suspended for 6 months before the stock exchange starts to 'frown', and this is backed up here. Administration plz liquidation would be better, no hold that, vapourisation of sha would be for the best, just to be on the safe side
  5. saw this about a year ago, got to say really enjoyed it too.
  6. finally got round to seeing both Animal Kingdom and Snowtown, really worth watching
  7. Ahh, but do you eat meat, and more importantly if you do, do you smell?
  8. It's really not as black and white as that is it. I'm sure if bent and gabby are playing and we lose you'll just say that gabby was in the wing. Plenty of better teams have gone to stoke and had their ass's handed to them. I think a better way of putting it is if we play 442 show some attacking intent and try to play football it's the best chance we have of getting a positive result and possibly a win, If we revert to Mcleish's tried and tested 451 backs to wall defending for 90 mins, in all likelyhood we will lose
  9. I guess you're joking (it's the sort of thing carnivores routinely say about veggies), but I'll play: I'm a meat eater, IQ about 142, educated to masters level, distance runner. I may well smell though, I'm probably not the best judge. OTOH, Adolf Hitler was a teetotal veggie. There you go, scientific proof. :winkold: Aren't IQ scores nonsense? yea they are mostly, although MENSA do require a 'sort of' IQ test. There are 2 they prefer to use and to get into it you have to achieve at least a 139 in the one or a 146 in the other. This result puts you into the upper 2% percentile... Not many IT Technicians with an IQ of more than 130 "Technician"? Cheeky bastard. And yes, I think that IQ tests are indeed bollocks. But I do consistently score in that top 2%, for what it's worth. They're pretty consistent, even if they're bollocks. same as you, last one I did I got 142 although I've been as low as 138 and as high as 145 in the past. we're a smart bunch on here, I'm another meat eater who scores in that top 2 percentile highest score in the 150's, lowest upper 130's, when i tried to join the RAF as an engineering apprentice the mental aptitude test i took actually put me in the top 1% of population, not that it's done me much good to be honest, shame i can't put forward an argument about smelling, well I could but it would fall apart if the wife is called to give evidence. meat I love it,
  10. If The Eu were indeed proposing re-regulation of investment and retail banking, to bring back the safegaurds that had been in place up until they started to be dismantled about 25 years ago then it's something I'd actually support, And I'm very much against an awful lot that the EU does and proposes, those safegaurds were in place for a reason and did there job perfectly well, removing them really worked out well didn't it (well i guess it did for those bankers who made fortunes from the bubble they helped create and got off scott free when it burst), but politicians actually doing things that might just be of good to the people they supposedly represent and work for, not so sure that's happened too often in the last 50 years, so it would be unlikely to be the case. As an aside, I'm sure I recently read a report that questioned this whole national interest line being fed to us over the protection of our financial sector (which should actualy read investment banking sector because that is what is really being talked about), in it a point was made that actually the sector that employs the most people and provides the most tax pounds to the treasury is in fact manufacturing and not finacial services, and I'm sure it's never cost the tax payer a fraction of what the investment banking sector has cost since 2008. Bit why let the truth get in the way of a good lie, especially when lots of (what used to be our) good money is being paid out to political parties to tell it.
  11. Craig Gardner was a very hard, but fair player in the tackle, probably much tougher than Boateng
  12. I hope he fails and takes sunderland down, not for any personal reason of vindictiveness against Martin O'neal, but purely as our survival from relegation is far from guaranteed due to our own efforts, so every team that fills a relegation slot due to their own failings is one less we're likely to be in, this season reminds me of the tortures of our year under Bingo McNeil.
  13. can he also buy Collins and Beye? C'mon Martin, You know it would be the decent thing to do
  14. what I find difficult to understand is that millions of years of evolution has given us the ability to stand walk and run as a biped, yet somehow Heskey, a well paid professional athlete finds staying on his feet while doing quite simple things so very difficult.
  15. he made probably our best pass yesterday to Warnock(wasnt hard) He was also out of position numerous times and on two very important occasions in particular first for the Man Utd goal, and his total lack of effort to attempt to get back was disgraceful. The second when Given had to rush into the right back area to clear and pulled his hamstring,
  16. i didn't, i was told that we got him from bristol rovers err yes you did
  17. well he's hardly going to say "Am is a clueless twonk, for example, he keeps playing me and I've been worse than a useless liability all season" Your not going to get type of honesty for 99.9% of players, I'm sure he wants to keep playing so a bit of brown nosing is always going to help. The real worry for me is if players, the manager, or the executives actually believe the bullshit they feed to the press.
  18. AM is currently giving him a run for his money though
  19. I am sure some teammates who he has become quite friendly with will give him rides to practices/games. If not the money modern footballers earn, he could afford to hire a driver to run him around
  20. Only worry is small heath have always been one of the luckiest fucktard clubs around, which sort of proves how utter shit they have been throughout their pointless existence to have won so little while being so so lucky.
  21. Highlights (or rather the goals) from all the next gen games can be found on youtube.
