  1. last time I went to the doc was about three years ago. He told me I had to book an appointment for a general checkup and made it very clear that at some point during this checkup there would be a finger up my bum hole (and not my finger!). Somehow I've still not quite got round to booking that appointment just yet. just relax its only a finger. A finger, I'm sure I could cope with. That particular finger, not so sure. Rather unpleasant GP who was unnecessarily keen to bring up the subject with me. He might have broached the subject but he will not breach my ring.

  3. that's a large leap from a woman get the arse with me for holding a door open for them .. MJ was the first person to brand them militant feminists ...... and then he then liked your post when you insulted him Point of order....I was the first to use that phrase on the previous page. In my defence, despite working in an environment that was 90% female at the time, the woman in question was known as such by all within the organisation.
  4. I'm in the same boat - think I even defended him right up to the last. I don't hold any of the negativity toward him that others round here seem to. I always thought he was an honourable man who worked under very tight restrictions without complaining. I hope whatever job he ends up in, he does well. I have noticed though, a softening in opinions on him since that chancer Sherwood left. For me, TacticsTim showed what a (relatively) good job Lambert had done. (I appreciate I'll be in the minority on holding these beliefs).
  5. Guess I'm a sucker then. I was trying to work out today why I'm always the last person to get out of the lift at work. I've even tried to see if I can make it out first (or even just not last) but I'm never quick enough off the mark.
  6. That sounds like me. I'm 42, fml.
  7. I genuinely have no idea how I'd react in that situation. I say that because I can't rule out blurting something along the lines of "oh well now that I know you're a word removed I won't do it the next time" and it would be completely reactionary. I know I've cited this example before in this thread but I used to work with a militant feminist who'd always sniffily remark "You don't have to open the door for me because I'm a woman". My response was always " No, I have to hold the door for you because I'm a gentleman and my parents brought me up to be polite".
  8. I will embrace it. Can't wait to get to heaven
  9. Surely this is a piss take? I thought so when I first saw it last week but have come to the conclusion that it's worryingly real.
  10. This week's episode was rubbish. Carrie didn't cry once.
  11. So long as there's people like this around, it'll be a thing:
  12. I think you're right. What Rudy should have done is throw the ball to where Hart should have been. One-nil Villa
  13. To be fair, you wouldn't have to try to hard to find posts in on-topic saying exactly the same thing. That said, I do agree that Jenas is quite good to listen to.
  14. Joe Allen on Exeter St. One minute from CovGdn and it's a bit of a luvvie spot. Don't think I've ever been in there without seeing someone off of the telly. Not too expensive neither.
  15. Are we actually playing football here? It's been so long since I saw us play with an actual plan. Still very short in the final third but if this is the difference Remi has made in a few days with the squad, I think there's reason for optimism.
  16. Mark Lillis caretaker manager at Huddersfield, looking after our very own Kryten (pob).
  17. Ridiculously warm last night. Went for a drink down Eel Pie and we ended up sitting outside. Proper tshirt weather.
  18. id kind of go with that. You can't even see her face! or were you talking about him?
  19. My mate getting married a couple of years ago. We all knew it wouldn't work, Result? Didn't work and now he's skint I think a lot of us will have similar stories to tell. Mate of mine was working in India and married (to a local) within 10 months of arriving there. First time I met her was the day before the wedding and I saw it straight away. She's taken him for a ride, spent all his money and now there's nothing left, she's telling him he has to leave and she's having the house. She's also saying he has to pay for the kids to go to boarding school as she doesn't want to look after them. She's told him she never loved him and only married him because her dad told her to. She goes out whenever she wants but won't allow him out ever. She even tried to give me the come-on too - she's that desperate to spite him. Poor bloke knows he made a big mistake now and wishes someone had warned him off but as he was overseas, nobody could see it coming.
  20. Not seen it yet, but I've just read a comment from my mate on Facebook, and he described it as being, "a bit noncey". Two female FB friends of mine on today talking about how fantastic it is, and how they are in floods of tears over it. FFS. It's the same every year. To the point where I've heard people say, "it's not Christmas, till I've seen the John Lewis / Coca-Cola adverts". Christmas is all about rampant capitalism now. Just what the Little Baby Jebus would have wanted. It's not Christmas until he says it's Christmas:

Two female FB friends of mine on today talking about how fantastic it is, and how they are in floods of tears over it. FFS. I don't spend much time on Facebook but having just had a look, I see it has been posted or referenced 17 times already this morning by people I know. And then I remember why I don't spend much time on Facebook.
  22. If we're doing admissions, I'd have to agree that I do on occasion do poops. On the other hand, my penis has not functioned for a long time.
  23. I saw QPR last week at Brentford. They have some very good players but a lack of obvious system. I think Tim would be fairly sure to have little impact on that. They were clearly fighting for their manager and they clearly loved him so I doubt they'd benefit from Sherwood's personal approach (blah, blah, facials etc). They need someone who can impose an effective solution rather than a motivator.
