Where'd you get that from? Brentford took £6M (plus add-ons) for their prized asset in the summer. There's no way they'd turn down that sort of money for Judge. Last bid they had for him was about the £1M mark and they laughed it out of town. £8M is Brentford's asking price. They know nobody is daft enough to bid that, the price is that high as they're not a willing seller.

I'm not normally a negative nelly but I can't shake the thought that we'll announce Debuchy on deadline day and that will be it.

They're not always fun. I went to one a few years ago at some fancy bar by the river in Fulham. Initially the odds seemed good but it was cougar-central and I genuinely felt like prey with these 50-yr old women circling , each pass getting closer. I lasted about 40 minutes before it became too unnerving and I bailed. Genuinely terrifying experience.

I've been invited to update my Directors on some of my projects this morning. Three hour meeting starting at 10am. I'm the fifth item on the agenda (out of 18) and I'm still waiting for the call. Can't get anything started as I'm expecting to be called any minute. What a waste of a morning.

To be fair, Brentford have a lot of one-way rivalries. In this instance though, I thoroughly agree with their assessment. And if you like Brentford, at least you'll have an away day to look forward to next season

Just found out I'm going to Blackcaps vs Australia in Feb. Ordinarily, I'd be rather excited but as I'll have just landed in Wellington that morning (following more than 24 hours airborne), I do wonder if I might struggle to get maximum enjoyment out of it.

If Disney or Pixar make a better movie than Up, it will be a phenomenal movie. It was on over Christmas and despite having it on Blu-Ray, I sat through the whole thing. Utterly mesmerising film. Inside Out was very good too though.

Hardly conclusive but...... Gun crime figures are harder to quantify from the look of it. Lots of articles saying it's on the rise but the last half-decent study seems 4 or 5 years out of date now.
