  1. We've shown we are a club in the up, Arsenal are on the way down. We enhance players ability and international opportunities. With the exception of a few Arsenal is now a burial ground for formerly good reputations. I don't think we will sign him because if Arsenal's wage structure. They have mediocre players on 160k a week. We would never ever offer him that (Grealish territory).
  2. Reality has called. Grealish is 25 and already breaks down each season. Whilst players can certainly go on longer their maximum ability tends to be around 27-31.
  3. Worth noting that Everton have spent 100s of millions, have a ridiculously high wage bill and it hasn't got them far. Building a team is hopefully the way forward.
  4. 6-25 is the majority of his life but thats semantics. Next summer he will nearly be 27, so yes he will be near full potential and have 3 years at the top top level. Thats my opinion. Doesn't make me less of a Villa fan because I have it.
  5. Season ticket for 16 years. Went to every away game in the promotion season. But of course, because I think a player whose given his life to this club should move upwards if we don't, I'm clearly a man city fan. I think that has what's kept him here so far, which is great. I also hope you are right. I do genuinely believe, when he's getting to 27/28 if we aren't at that level I believe he will go.
  6. Unless we have a crazy good season, Jack should go next year. Probably with the blessing of the club and the majority of the fan base for a fair amount. He should be playing in Champions league finals, not in the European conference league (which is probably our aim next year) .
  7. Been saying on Twitter there's problems with the telephone system and very high demand.

    The NSWE Board

I'm very enthusiastic because of how they've done it. Reports will say they've spent £200million. They haven't, they've invested in assets which increase in value. They've actually made money. The asset value of every player (except Sammatta and kallinic) has improved. Other outlays are easily covered by the value of the club probably 4/5x increasing. If they sold up tomorrow they would make money. The realism comes in, where in the longer term we will sell 1 star asset per season (Grealish, mings) before their value declines (27,28), to be replaced by a youth team or younger cheaper purchase. Bit like the Leicester model.
  9. As mentioned previously, don't think of it as spend, its an investment on assets and a club that is now worth more. The sale of Grealish, mcginn, Watkins mings and Konsa would cover their outlay, whilst the clubs value will have increased 4x due to sustained PL status. Only Kallinic and Sammatta would lose money should they be sold tomorrow. If NSWE were to walk away tomorrow they will have MADE money.
  10. Awful to see Southgate reverting to type last night. Flat back 4. 2 holding midfielders, Rice dropping basically into CB to collect the ball. Kane essentially playing as a midfielder. Genuinely think we will just beat Scotland, draw with Croatia and the Czechs. If we luck it through to the last 16, first good team will pin us in and comfortably win. Such a shame as with our firepower, on the front foot we could blow teams away.
  11. Levy has built his stadium, he just wants to win something before he retires or moves on. You don't hire Mourinho and Conte for long term objectives. Conte is what Mourinho used to be, a bloody good manager, will probably win something, but will leave a trail of destruction behind him in 2/3 years.
  12. My thought is: Pick the stand where the waiting list is likely to be the lowest (holte end likely to be the highest) Once you have a season ticket anywhere, you can go to season ticket moving day and move to anywhere where someone hasn't renewed. I move seats in the Holte end most seasons. Season ticket moving day is normally a few days after the renewal window closes and before they go on sale (to those on the waiting list).
  13. I would have thought the St requests to seats ratio would be lower. Either way, whichever the smallest queue is likely to be, join that. There's always seats all around the ground on moving day.
  14. Better off picking the Doug Ellis list (presuming that's the most availability), then waiting for season ticket moving day.
  15. Wait till John mcginn snaps him in half, then runs away shaking his fist calling him a diving wee ***** (it's a recurring nightmare)
  16. Renewed, but definitely going to relocation day. I'm in the holte upper near the front. Genuinely, the 1982 brigade in front of me were calling Grealish s*** the last time they were there. Must move.
  17. To be fair. Godfrey might get into the squad because he can play CB, LB and RB. That's very useful in tournament football. Shouldn't be at the expense of Mings though as a commanding left footed CB. He's been in great form as well the end the season.
  18. He's the Gareth Southgate of club football. Never going to win anything, makes unbelievably naive decisions. Generally does just about what he needs with good resources. Safe pair of hands.
  19. Spot on. We defend very very narrow, meaning its very easy to pin us back. There's no release ball except to lump it to Watkins with about 3 cbs surrounding him. Possession is recycled. Grealish is so vital because he can receive the ball near his box, keep hold of it, draw a foul etc and move the whole team up. If Rashica can do that he will be important defensively as well as offensively.
  20. Ole will be out by Christmas imo. I personally think he's done a good job to take United from a 5/6th team to second. However, next season Liverpool will improve and Man City are a train that never stops. 3/4th will be seen as backwards step.
  21. The lady in the black coat, went from wanting to swear at Mings to wanting to sh*g Mings in about 2 seconds.
  22. Henderson got a decent penalty save record as well. Should have done a Tim Krul in the 119th minute
  23. Defensive midfielder. Defence we are fine. Guilbert coming back for full back and Konsa can cover. Kessler can't be far away from a few mins or emergency. Sanson with a full pre season will be like a new signing in midfield. Chuk will stsrt to provide competition in free role. JPB will be our 4th winger with a new man taking traore or el ghazi place. Wesley will provide competition for Watkins. We will struggle to get a good quality player who is happy to sit on the bench.
