Just looking in the paper and the stories are about him partying on holiday with d list celebrities. let’s be honest this season he hasn’t really been in the papers for his football this season and I think from a personal perspective (not a trophy perspective) his performances have been very poor compared to the previous two seasons. He seems to me to be in danger of getting more paper time for his off the field shambles than what he does on it. he is getting paid a fortune every week and picking up trophies for watching his team mates play so I doubt he cares but i do wonder if we are seeing a wasted talent being driven by a poor greedy agent.

I found it a strange game it had a very end of season feel to it from us where we dominated the ball for large parts but the urgency to go after the win seemed lacking a little bit. Also I found it odd because I hate Leeds and want them to go down so I went into the game wanting us to maybe not win but as soon as the game kicks off that’s gone and I’m desperate for the win. Difficult to pick to much out really. I thought mings and chambers looked good and they block from mings was incredible although the guy shouldn’t have gave him a chance to block. I agree I think mcginn is becoming a problem. One of those that’s mangers seem to think is ok and the are more desperate areas to deal with but I think he is really holding the team back I think we have evolved beyond him.

Agree with this sentiment, what club outside of the top 4 wouldn’t want the option of Phil or emi either starting together or one coming of the bench after 65 minutes to replace the other. Let lack of drop in quality when making subs has never been available to a manger before at Villa that I can remember. It always happens these pundits are so lazy they don’t look into the details of how teams develop or don’t in some cases. The idea that Leeds has a good first season and would keep pushing forward despite not really signing anyone (I don’t count Dan James because he is a clown) was stupid not giving any thought to the idea that they over achieved or that established premier league teams can’t adapt to deal with a side that runs around a lot and throws everyone forward. The reality is the league got wise and learnt how to pick them off hence why they are on the verge of having the worst defensive record in history. it reminds me a little bit of Sheffield Utd last season. Ten games in and they hardly had a point on the board but still pundits were saying they will be ok look at what they did last season. It doesn’t work like that against top teams

The concentration is and has been the key for the last two years for me against the better sides especially at home where we are able to stay in the game even play fairly well but it seems what ever we do we come up a little bit short in the end. When you look back on it so often it’s just those split second moments where you see somebody not track a runner and against these top sides that’s all they need and it’s a goal and game over. it’s so frustrating to be competitive but ultimately come up short every time

Having watched Phillips a couple of times since his most recent injury I wouldn’t go near him. Leeds will want silly money for him and although I think he is an ok player I wouldn’t break the bank for him. Maybe 3 years ago when we first got promoted that would have been a good signing but not now.

I might be in a minority of 1 but I really don’t find watching Man City that interesting. I want Leeds to go down for many reasons but none more so than for last season and the first half of this season I got so bored of sky trying to tell me they should be my second favourite team because they run around a lot. for what it’s worth I think this is a poor display since the red card from arsenal, Leeds are here to be hit 5-6 but they are playing like a training ground match and it might cost them

Watching him last night confirmed what I thought since he left. Wrong club wrong time. I never felt city needed him and the fact that he never starts in the champions league any more and has only started half the league games suggests that too so he has become an expensive version of Nathan Aki purchased because they could rather than because they needed him. What they really needed was Harry Kane or similar which they might get with Harland which I think will reduce his game time even more. he doesn’t fit into city’s system or style so he is having to change his natural game and shock horror it looks unnatural to him. I wonder if it is him wanting his loan back or he is being pushed by others in the Kremlin because they need the money due to all the sanctions.
