  1. We all die, but do we really die? Yes.
  2. It really does. It really doesn't. You win nothing for having players who might be good but are injured. You also don't get anywhere writing off young players because they've been out injured.
  3. Really?! The way we're going in general, I'd think it more likely that we'd cease to exist at all in 30 years! I hope not, it means I've just starting paying into my pension for no reason.
  4. Describing a twin as 'it' tickled me for some reason.
  5. I'd never really thought about in depth before. Sounds really stupid, but I kind of subconsciously thought I was invincible. But a few weeks ago I woke up and my very first thought of the day was, 'I'm going to die one day' and it absolutely terrified me. I thought, 'from now on, I'm really going to start enjoying life'. Yesterday I was eating nik nak's on bed, in just my pants, so it's going well.
  6. I think it's fine to think that some names are horrible and 'chavvy' and I can understand, I guess, why some parents might want to stop their child playing with another kid who is disruptive and misbehaves a lot, although I'm not sure I'd like to pick my children's friends for them. To assume that these are the same group of children and to judge the kid on just their name? Idiotic.
  7. Me neither england 15th? I know, far too high..
  8. I think it's right that they should cover up, I don't want my kids seeing bare shoulders and elbows! What next? Hardcore porn on cbeebies!?
  9. Just bought tickets for this. I'm looking forward to entering the ground through someone's back garden. Magical.
  10. Swearing in the office. Swearing in general doesn't bother me at all, but in the office with mixed company, I don't like it. It makes me uncomfortable when someone's sitting here and loudly effing and jeffing. It's like when your friend from school comes back to yours and swears in front of your mum.
  11. Tea spoons that aren't strong enough for a good, hard bag squeezing.
  12. I love the idea of my organ being in someone else. LOL!!!
  13. For me, the opting in or out thing isn't the important part as such. I'm all for the system to stay exactly the same as it is now, but surely the issue of a lot healthy organs going to waste (ones that once belonged to a 'would have been' donor) needs to be addressed. It just seemed the opting out scheme was the simplest and quickest solution, but there are many other issues I hadn't considered, I guess.
  14. He's still on holiday though, isn't he? Jesus, hes been on holiday for what seems like decades. It is not an excuse, it never was an excuse imo. The point is, if he wanted it done, it would be done. He clearly does not want the the guaranteed pay rise to stay at Villa that much. 3 weeks out of the country. Not exactly a gap year.
  15. I've never really thought about the 'ownership' thing before, I couldn't really think of a reason not to be 100% behind the opt-out scheme. But it's a fair point. I just don't down see it as any kind of ownership though, I just think it's a terrible shame if somebody who is waiting for an organ can't have one from a recently deceased body just because that person didn't spend 2 minutes filling out a simple form. I reckon the majority of the population fall into the category of 'happy to donate organs, haven't filled out the form yet'.
  16. He's still on holiday though, isn't he?
  17. Don't know what you're talking about, that was all from memory...
  18. I love this. "I'm lending my experience as a manager for all those years - 10 years at Wimbledon, two years at Nottingham Forest, two years winning promotion at Luton and, of course, almost two years at Newcastle." It was 7 years at Wimbledon, 11 months at Forest and 5 or 8 months at Newcastle depending on how you look at it. Safe to say he has a tendency to exaggerate.
