  1. I went for my last run before Sunday last night, ran 5.5 miles in 52 minutes. I'd be happy if I can keep up that kind of pace. Half way round though, my shin, calf and ankle starting hurting on my right leg and my left knee went. And then I got a bloody fly in my eye. I felt like the Hunchback of Notre-Dame running around Oldbury.
  2. You're not alone. Stella is renowned for behaviour you don't get from other lagers. It's the Buckfast of the lager world. A mate of mine gets extremely beligerent on it to the point where his Mrs won't let him drink it (and he agrees with her). I always use to think it was a myth until recently, but I'm the same on it, it turns me into a right horrible prick.
  3. I guess I'm just being ignorant, but I've never really enjoyed any alcoholic beverage for the taste, I drink to get pissed. So when I go the bar, I order a pint of the cheapest lager they have. *awaits abuse*
  4. I once got arrested for entering my pin into a cash point.
  5. Women are weird aren't they? One sat next to me at work just started crying when she found out that basically all the work she has done today is pointless and so she's had a wasted day. Annoying, I guess, but something to cry over? Worst part about it is, she was sat there for a good few minutes and I was just sat there not knowing what to do.

I bought one like this a few years back from River Island and I love it because...
  7. £11,001 saved and £501 in my everyday account. Did I win?
  8. I'm probably completely wrong, but I got the impression you could carry on with your PC save on your PS Vita? So maybe you can on your iPad too. I dunno, I'm out of my depth here.
  9. I was playing solitaire and minesweeper on my laptop last night. "It'll be here soon, don't worry...it'll be here soon..."
  10. Ahh shite. I've just realised the Birmingham Half Marathon is the same day as Spurs at home. Kick off's at 4, race starts about 11ish? Bit of incentive to get over the finish line I guess.
  11. Who did he run up to on the bench after scoring?
  12. Oooh, I didn't even think about that, sounds good. She can sort out the photographer, flowers, caterers, DJ and all that, I'll sort out the beer. Cheers!
  13. Me and the future Mrs Paddywhack have been looking at wedding venues recently. We found one that she loved and we think we're going to go for, but there's just one thing niggling me about it; they didn't have lager on tap. Think I'm okay to tell her I don't want to get married there because they don't have lager on tap?
  14. Seems like the people who have said 'no' have fallen out of love with the modern game rather than the Villa, with the exception of one or two. Me, I still love it, walking up the Holte steps still gives me a buzz. I think I'm far away from this ever being considered a chore.
  15. Hands up, I had to google 'adjective'. I can never remember what nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are. It was drilled into us throughout school (ooh), it just never sunk in for me. (Where's that smiley gone where's he smashing himself over the head with a mallet?)
  16. Earlier, a dodgy looking bloke with gold teeth and with a mobile in his hand asked me if he could borrow my mobile to make a quick call. Being the pretty streetwise bloke that I am, I quickly realised this was probably not genuine, so I said no. The fact he'd asked me if I was a copper just before asking for my phone only strengthens my belief that I made the right decision.
  17. but you are interested in what pisses off people you've never met before on a football forum You got me there! I did notice my hypocrisy when typing it, but I quite like people on here; generally like-minded Villa fans. I went to school with arseholes. I don't read other people's posts anyway.
  18. I think facebook is great for numerous reasons, like messaging a group of mates all at once or uploading photos of a party/wedding and seeing everybody else's photos of it too. But other than that, I'd be happy to delete my account. I think it's mad that I'm friends with people from school on there that I didn't even speak to back then, but now I know what they're doing on a Tuesday evening. I'm particularly not interested in their thoughts about some nobhead on X-factor.
  19. Is that his first international goal?
