I went to Morrison’s earlier, I’d say 95% of customers wearing masks. I was really surprised the checkout lady (>55 years old) wasn’t wearing one. The side of the till area has a screen, but then the end is completely open.

My MIL sold her house, then the buyers lender said it was over priced so the sale fell through and she took it off the market (3 months ago). She put it back on the market recently, same price, why? Because she said any buyer will be saving money on stamp duty so she won’t reduce it. Standard practice now I expect when any buyer want to haggle on the price.

I have only ever had to return 2 phones for repair and they were both HTC. One of them went back with a fault with the screen, when it came back the screen was fixed by the microphone was now broken.

They aren’t a big club, top players won’t really want to play there unless paid OTT wages. They’re in the top flight, no imminent danger of relegation. There was a guy who I worked with last year, put in for retirement as a senior management with close to 40 years service. Few weeks later they opened a VR scheme. Rumour has it he missed out on £100k as it was a generous scheme. He asked the question about cancelling his retirement but was told no. He took it on the chin. It would sting a bit though!

Things like this piss me off This guy tells his employer in writing 4 months ago he will retire and it’s accepted. Now he wants to cancel it at the last minute so he can take a redundancy payment instead. Tough shit mate.
