The “celebrations” quite rightly should have been condemned, they set fire to the Liver building as well as trashing the place and risking spreading virus. It took days to clean up. On more than one news report I saw the night it was happening it was described as great scenes. I’m pretty sure I commented as such on the virus thread at the time. SportBible also described the celebrations as “incredible” and “best fans in the world”. If you didn’t see it then it’s fine, it doesn’t make me a liar.

No it isn't. It was mentioned on the news several times. ...and here is an example on social media from me (the liar).

When Liverpool fans were doing it a couple of weeks back the news said it was fantastic to see, great scenes etc.

It’s a good job colouring in the American flag wasn’t part of the super hard test that he aced
  5. I had a quick look but it’s hard to tell as most data has the cheapest and most expensive of which there could be a small handful and not representing an average situation. Fair play to them if they are generally good value because they are usually treated to some excellent football.
  6. Yeah I agree, club is like “woo hoo mega shirt deal”... but the fans are picking up the tab. The super rich clubs could do a different deal whereas shirts are more affordable for their supporters. Same with ticket prices. But they don’t.
  7. The tide has turned on this one (as I think someone on here speculated it would eventually). BBC
  8. That’s clearly very pricey, but a bit of a premium factor for getting it from their “home”. It’s like Disney toys from Disney world, people will pay more to get them from the park... but this is JD Sports selling these City shirt for £110 . £40-£50 used to feel expensive, it’s a bloody bargain now. Fans get excited at the prospect of filthy rich owners, but the merchandise and ticket prices don’t come down as you think they might.
  9. When you’re owned by some of the richest people on the planet and the shirts cost £110 each! You’d like to think they’d have some control over the sale price of their shirts.
  10. I suppose, I’d have thought they (Dortmund) could have done better than him for £25-30m. It’s a bit of risky business on their part.
  11. Something doesn’t quite ring true, why would Dortmund over pay by about £25m on a promising youngster if they could get him for a nominal compensation fee?
  12. It’s a lot of money for a 17 year old. There’s a lot of promise (apparently, I’ve never watched him play) but he hasn’t even played in the top division. We’ve seen so many promising 17/18 year olds fail to push on. He could become nothing special.
  13. They should introduce a video ref for stuff like that.
  14. I still can’t believe it’s real, the whole thing. The mural, the tweets, the sitting in the middle of the pitch after the game, the huge banner, the retiring of the shirt Its just so utterly ridiculous for a young lad who has done nothing of note in the second division.
  15. It does, I did it a few weeks ago (as it was due a service and I had concerns that they might not honour the warranty if I didn’t do it). New expiry is 12 months from test date.
  16. You’d think BREJOIN alone would be worth 40%+ of the vote. Why won’t labour go for it?
  17. At least their social media manager will be getting a bonus for all the web traffic and mentions the club is getting on social media
  18. Will the next GE be too soon for someone to go with BREJOIN?
  19. I didn’t realise he did the Iniesta sitting in the nou camp thing too It’s too much to take in
  20. Reading through some of the social media on it, I’ve never seen the word tinpot used so often. Followed closely by “is it a late April fools joke”
  21. It’s even a shit number too Who would even want to wear number 22 for Birmingham?
  22. Absolutely every media outlet and pundit on Twitter is taking the piss
  23. I’m lost for words. He played 1 year in the second tier and they finished 1 point above the relegation zone yet they’re going on like Maradona winning the league with Napoli
  24. I am finding myself looking for opportunities to take a drive somewhere at the moment too. I’m missing shouting along to my music at a million decibels.
