  1. They need to bring Paranoid back. Really don't know why they got rid of it. The Foo Fighters song is just terrible and really isn't fitting. The Paranoid song just felt right.
  2. Some info on BF4. Seems it may be a launch title on the next-gen consoles. That's one game that will really benefit from being on next-gen! 64 person multiplayer!!! The news comes via EA’s recent earnings call, during which EA Labels president Frank Gibeau said, "We've already talked a little bit about that we have a Battlefield title coming next year, but we're not in a position right now to talk about our development plans and our SKU plan long term." "That will come in about 90 days when we get to show you some Battlefield stuff." Despite Gibeau's reluctance to say so, the news would seem to confirm suspicions that Battlefield 4 will hit as a launch window title for the next generation of consoles. Battlefield 4's planned announcement fits around the expected reveal of Sony and Microsoft’s new hardware. Later in the call, EA CEO John Riccitiello alluded to this by saying, "We think Battlefield and FIFA are going to help us lead as we move into the next set of technology opportunities and platform opportunities, and continue to get bigger." The first news of Battlefield 4 came in July last year, when EA announced that owners of Medal of Honor: Warfighter (which has been shelved for the forseeable future) would be granted to the shooter’s beta. During EA’s financial conference, EA has confirmed that the Battlefield 4 reveal will be coming in “around 90 days.” They are currently not ready to discuss more, but will be soon. EA believes their Battlefield and FIFA franchise be their main sources of revenue for now. EA said: “We’ve already talked a little bit about that we have a Battlefield title coming next year, but we’re not in a position right now to talk about our development plans and our SKU plan long term,” “That will come in about 90 days when we get to show you some Battlefield stuff.” “We think Battlefield and FIFA are going to help us lead as we move into the next set of technology opportunities and platform opportunities, and continue to get bigger.”
  3. I thought Bowery was in the squad primarily to help out the defence on set-pieces. So I can understand his inclusion, though, a winger is something Bowery is definitely not. Had Gabby been fit he would have been the obvious choice.
  4. Because he's a lazy tosser perhaps ? I do wonder if you've ever actually watched him play before.
  5. For some reason I can still see them getting out of it. I know it's highly improbable but I can just see it happening.
  6. We dont make things easy for ourselves do we? Jesus christ I was all over the place in the last 3 minutes. Though, thank god we got the we 3 points!!!
  7. Yeah tried to get tickets for this earlier but couldn't. Gutted.

    Relegation

I just can't see us winning. Need to though. Fingers crossed.
  9. I could actually imagine Zlatan saying those things though.
  10. Data caps is a good point. I hadnt thought of that.
  11. Very good keeping from Hart there. I say it every time I watch an England game on ITV but i hate the ITV commentators. Every time I hear them I just feel like a loser.
  12. So, this is Microsoft testing the water for a non optical disk console.... The public response to this is likely to determine whether I win my bet or not. Judging by an xbox forum I use people are generally not happy about it. Lots of knee-jerk reaction saying they would just not buy one, or buy a PS4. Think many people would change their minds when the console is released though. Not too sure it would work though, I mean, if my net dropped for a few days and I was unable to use a product I had bought I wouldn't be too happy.

    Windows 8

    7. Definitely. I've used both quite a lot, and my experience is that you gain nothing from using 8 on a desktop, apart from being annoyed for a while whilst you get used to it. Whereas 7 is pretty much good to go. I've chosen to stick with 7. Someone more technical may list reasons why 8 is better but from a purely user point of view, I prefer 7.
  14. So would this bother anyone if true? Not being able to buy second hand games? Or always needing to have your xbox connected to the internet? Next-gen Xbox games will require an internet connection in order to function and block second-hand use, according to a new Edge report. Microsoft will move to make Xbox Live an "integral" rather than "optional" feature of the next Xbox, with retail games made available for download, the next-gen expose in Edge's latest issue claims. Physical boxed titles will remain on sale in shops via 50GB Blu-ray discs, but "activation codes" will require verification online, the report adds. Once verified, sources claim discs will have "no function beyond the initial users - effectively eliminating the second-hand games market as it's currently known. Edge's information is said to come form "sources with first-hand experience of Microsoft's next generation console." "Given its experience with 70 million-plus 360 console stats, Microsoft has accumulated enough user data to make the decision to go online-only with its successive hardware one that adds up," the Edge report states. "Microsoft's hand has been guided by the PC gaming landscape, and viewed through a particular lens it makes sense, even if unbelievers will take some convincing." It adds: "Ultimately, Microsoft has asked itself a simple question: who wants to play games on a next-generation Xbox and yet doesn't have access to the internet? The answer: not enough to make a considerable difference." The next Xbox, codename Durango, is said to utilise an AMD eight-core x64 1.6GHz CPU, a D3D11.x 800MHz graphics solution and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. As of now, the console's hard drive capacity is said to be undecided. In the same report it's claimed that the PS4 will utilise an improved PlayStation Eye camera and redesigned controller, and have the ability to record and upload gameplay to the internet. Both next-gen consoles are said to be set for release before this Christmas, although PS4 is unlikely to launch in Europe until "early 2014".
  15. Cant fault the way he's been playing lately. Think he has the ability to keep us up. I hate it when people bring stats into everything. Seems to be happening a lot on here lately. Football is just as much about what you do off the ball as it is to what you do on the ball and there's no stats for that. I watch football with my eyes, and I can see when someone is playing well and when someone is not. And lately, N'zogbia has been playing especially well. Long may it continue.
  16. As far as i'm concerned, Gabby will need to take a pay cut if we do get relegated. We will see how loyal he is to Villa then.
  17. I like that one. Where is it from?
  18. Simply by cutting more costs. .......and then selling. But how much cost cutting can he do? AVFC still owes Randy a massive amount of money in loans. No one will buy AVFC for £150-200m to pay off the loans while we're in the Premiership. There's no chance of that happening in the Championship. So I don't see how he's going to be making any money any time soon. It would take years for Randy to even break even, making a profit will just not happen for aaages, and that's if we stay in the Premier League.
  19. Id rather he didn't go around giving it the Barry McGuigan against midgets then going up his own arsehole when someone gives him some back.......... that in any other walk of life would make him a w*nker in my eyes...... There's plenty to moan about right now but this is just pathetic ....
  20. "In fact, you could argue that he is quite the genius because he is potentially going to make money out of a product that is completely shit!!" How is he going to make money from Villa now?
  21. It was mentioned on Radio WM the other day. Would never happen, since accepting would be accepting that our defensive coach is shit Well clearly our defensive coach is shit. How much more proof do people want. As for £10m for X and £8m for Y how about a lot less for a loan? Just think how much RL is going to pocket this Summer when we go down? Bent (£12m) Benteke (£17m) Weimann (£8m) Gabby (£8m) Vlaar (£6m) theres £51m back straight away to repay off the loans he has made to us. Does that suddenly not make us more attractive to purchasers for £50m? Hahahahahahahaha £12m for Bent £8m for Gabby £6m for Vlaar £17m for Benteke would be a push if we stayed up Not so sure about the Benteke one. I think we could easily ask for 17m for him. But the others, yeah, I agree,
  22. 3-1 to West Ham Not sure where everyone's confidence is coming from. West Ham are brilliant at set-pieces and we're terrible at defending them.
  23. Just watched Sound City directed by Dave Grohl... Thought is was fecking ace too! Interestingly though I think Arctic Monkey's "Suck It And See" must have been one of the last albums ever recorded there yet it gets no mention on the film. Oh and the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club w/ Dave Grohl track playing in the credits is **** awesome!
