Hogan would be stupid to go to the rabble. He has only played 3 games for Stoke and can't be match fit. He will need 3/4 games to get fit. (A Bit like Drinkwater for us and look how much stick he gets) If he does not hit the ground running, play well and start scoring goals from the off there fans will be all over him like a rash due to the Villa connection. we'll have to agree to disagree on this one Enkleman was appalling, far worse then Nyland. There was a time shortly after the incidents against the rabble where we were playing at home (can't remember the opposition) and the Holte End had to shout at him that there was a player behind him as he casually strolled around with the ball in the area. He managed to pick it up in time, turn around and thank the Holte End. Comical moment for a comincal keeper.

It definately has the potential for it to be worse. At this stage it's only going to get worse as its yet to hit it's 'peak' The authorities have no idea what it is and as @Chindie has mentioned a vacinne has yet to be developed. Indeed a vacinne is a long way away at the moment and even when one is developed it's a huge logistal task to get that spread around to be made available for people to take it. I have been to China many, many times from a work perspective and i've been there on holiday. I love the place. The people are so friendly. The sights are amazing. It is a very advanced country in so many ways but equally it is still so backwards in so many ways. Most of the areas it is backwards in is in the food and hygene. Whenever i was there i maily ate in the hotels i was staying in (worldwide brand name chain hotels). I was taken out a few times by Chinese work collegues to local restruants where they ordered all of the food. Lord knows what was on the table. I filled myself up on the rice in these instances. To us westerners, they eat some strange stuff and they eat everything, bone gristle etc. They do not beileve in waste. The majority of the 'bizzare'' things they eat can be put down to centuries of culteral belief. Bizzarely, they believe a lot of what they eat has a bearing on health and there well being. Hence why they eat what they eat. As for this virus, eventually it will pass by, the question is when. Thats why at the moment i would not venture anywhere near China or other parts of Asia until it has........there is no need to put youself in any undue risk.

Are you travelling on holiday or for work? If it was me i would not be going for either. I would not put myself at risk. Indeed, i was planning a months holiday touring the place in September this year which i have now decided to put on hold. I will probably go next year now when its all cleared up. To put it into some context, the outbreak of SARS in 2002/03 lasted for 8 months !!!! This outbreak has all the makings of lasting for a long time. Perhaps even lnger than the SARS outbreak.
