  1. I'm no egg chaser but i do know England are playing so well and deserve to win this. What an enthralling match this is.
  2. Match preview and head to head here at flashscore Some interesting stats. Though this season has seen Aston Villa pick up only two Premier League (PL) clean sheets, Villa have at least started well, with seven first-half clean sheets in eight games. The hosts have been leading at the break in five of those eight games, but have dropped eight points from winning positions. Also of significance is the fact that Villa have conceded ten of the 12 PL goals scored against them after the break. However, they are unbeaten in the last eight competitive H2Hs (W5, D3), managing four clean sheets during that sequence. The second half of games often prove important for Brighton too, with five of their eight league goals scored, and eight of ten conceded, coming after the break. Staying true to this theme, five of Brighton’s eight PL games this season have been goalless at the break. The visitors themselves have failed to score a first-half PL goal in six of those eight games above. Furthermore, the ‘Seagulls’ have struggled with their scoring away from home, scoring just once before the hour mark in their four PL away games. Players to watch: Anwar El Ghazi (ASV) has scored both of his PL goals at home this season, giving Villa the lead or extending it. Meanwhile, Neal Maupay has been Brighton’s first or last goal scorer with each of his three PL goals, whilst also giving or extending the Seagulls’ lead. Stat attack: Half of Villa’s PL goals this season (six of 12) have been conceded in the last ten minutes of play. So far this season, Villa’s record as a home favourite with bookmakers stands at: W0, D1, L1. Brighton have failed to score in each of their last three PL road trips. Six of Brighton’s eight PL matches have seen the same result at half-time and full-time.
  3. Go for it, but as its been a while since you watched it i suggest you start from episode 1 and binge watch it.
  4. Just completed all three series of Narcos. Superb. Gripping TV with hints of realism by showing original tv footage. A great performance from Juan Mercia as Pablo Escabar. Incredible how deep the corruption was along with the violence. And now as a bonus there is another series for me to watch....Narcos Mexico.....
  5. spot the difference from the team that beat Man City... It’s an easy excuse, but a wrong one, for Farke to use when you’ve just been hammered at home.
  6. Watched Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. Sky Cinema original exploring the crimes of Ted Bundy from the perspective of his girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer. Thought it was a good film which i enjoyed. Well worth the watch.
  7. I'm off to this on Saturday. Dead excited as it will be a fairly intimate type of gig as opposed to the larger warehouse/festival gigs. 8. result.... which do well for confidence and give DS options and food for thought for Saturday which will be far more important than this in the grand scheme of things.
  9. Lack of activity in this thread also shows the fans aint bothered !!!!!
  10. Just binged watched series 1 and 2 of Happy Valley on Netflix (original BBC prog) Happy it was not but i enjoyed the whole lot of it. A good plot and some brilliant acting from Sarah Lancashire.
  11. Yes indeed. To do this I think we need to change formation and shore up the midfield. I think having two wide men are a luxury in the premiership. Especially the ones we have who are weak in defence and get shrugged off the ball far too easily. This was apparent in yesterday’s game when Dean should have made changes to the midfield a lot earlier to negate the changes Arsenal made and nullify there attacking strength. I would like to see us just play one wide man for the Burnley game which will be a more physical type of game.
  12. didnt realise this old classic was still about....so i'm downing a few in the name of nostalgia... come to Birmingham and you will see......
  13. lots of hyperbole in this thread....just like the 800k jobs that will be lost if we voted leave and that did not happen... the same as not joining the euro.... lets face it....we live in an institutionalised remain country....you only have to look at the behaviour of MP's and a speaker who has broken every rule in the book to suit remaining. a bunch of remainers who actually voted to trigger article 50 which states if we cant agree a deal we leave without a deal......laughable we have people in this country who are not willing to accept a democratic vote because they did not like the result, simple as that. the problem is with any contest you have to be able to accept defeat (lets replay the Crystal Palace game, we lost, i dont like it, i dont understand the ref no giving our goal, come on, lets campaign to play it again). Remainers and the institution have not accepted defeat. Simple as that. i read in here all sorts of rhetoric that our freedom to travel will go !!! utter tosh. it may take more time going through customs but freedom to travel will go...laughable we are all going to fall off a cliff and disappear if we leave...are we crikey, talk about shitting your pants....the world will keep turning....the country will survive accept the vote accept the result....but no, remainers cant and wont i'm out of this thread...i'll still keep looking in and at all of the panic, hysteria and remainers giving one another thanks and likes and keep laughing at it all....because its all rather funny oh...and if you want to troll me etc......bring it on because that will be funny as well see you all later in the queue at passport control, the panic buying at the supermarket etc...... ciao baby
  14. I cannot believe how bad our passing was and everybody was culpable. We either gave it to them, passed too short to put our own player under pressure, or the passing was too slow. Very poor.
  15. rubbish......once again the vast majority of people vote for the party and the policies. If i vote Labour and someone jumps ship to Lib Dems thats not what i voted for. If i wanted a Lib Dem in i would have voted for them.
  16. but people dont.....in reality they vote for policies and the party
  17. Yes, good point......but we should not have to wait for a GE. There should be a By Election, but they are not brave enough to take it on because they know they will lose their job and all the perks that come with it. The vast majority of people vote for a party and with it party policies. Yes they may vote for the person but in the main it's the party and the policies. If i was in a constituency where my MP changed parties mid stream i would not be happy, regardless of how i voted in the referendum. If anyone feels the same there is a petition in place at the moment. Click here.
