  1. you can also pay the early repayment charge and exit your fix when ever you want. A lot of people were doing this about 9 months ago when interest rates started to rise and offers were being pulled by lenders. A lot of banks will wave the ERC if you are moving to another fix with them. Its all about weighing up what you are paying, what you are likely to move to and a finger in the air for what the markets and banks might do between now and then.
  2. The base rate is the bit that banks have to pay to borrow money from each other. So usually a mortgage rate is the base rate plus a bit extra to generate some margin for a bank. That extra can be quite small if the markets are performing and the risk of you paying your mortgage back is low. When the opposite happens, banks add more on top of the base rate. This rate wasn't a huge surprised so the banks have likely baked it in already. Depending on your circumstances expect to pay between about 5.5 and 7 percent.
  3. Id love to know why Mings doesn't get a chance. I don't believe its about his outside football profile. I wonder if it's more something boring like his age and injury record. Southgate struggles to see him as an international at the next major tournament and chooses to look at others.
  4. Not sure, they took Jorginho and Trossard in Jan, suspect they'll have other areas to focus on now.
  5. For me he's had a better season than kamara. Defends well, carries the ball well, improved his goal assist numbers, played more minutes.
  6. Not sure how your analysis differs, here the link to the bbc article where it was mentioned http://surl.li/fozmo "When Villa’s run-in is analysed, based on their opponents' points per game average of 1.45, only Forest (1.57) and Newcastle (1.50) have a harder climax to their seasons."
  7. Why split Vs home and away though? Were enough of the way through the season to just use average PPG and accept that it includes a range. Under Emery I think we've been stronger away. Not all clubs perform equally better at home rather than away.
  8. I'll be honest I read it yesterday but hadn't checked myself. Will try and dig out where I found it.
  9. Low in confidence but thought he looked better. Problem now is that the fans are on his back early. One mis placed pass and the reaction is immediate. Did his job yesterday, played as a winger, stayed wide to stretch the play, got a great assist in the first ten minutes.
  10. Only forest and Newcastle have a harder run in than us based on the average points per game of the teams left to play. My expectations are managed but I'm enjoying watching Unai transform the team. Us Vs Chelsea is 2 of the most inform teams, wouldn't have said that a couple of months ago.
  11. Odd how people see it differently, I can't remember cash losing a tackle. Thought he was class. Agree that Konsa struggled, the high line probably doesn't do him many favours.
  12. I'll take Rhodri and KBD please. But I like our two aswell
  13. Definitely wasn't in the 5 running a few drills. Just a little odd. Not involved before the match.
  14. Excellent today and looking really solid with Konsa.
  15. Interestingly I thought the midfield was excellent today, does he slot straight back in?
  16. I'm wondering how fit he really is. He didn't warm up before the game and didn't warm up with the subs at half time (unless I'm mistaken). I wonder if it's more about having him with the team.
  17. I share youre thoughts. I may have read into the comments too much but it sounded like he was saying if you get a spot on the bench it's because you've earned it, not because we just have one available. Hard to argue with.
  18. I don't think resale works until the club sells out. Unfortunately because Bournemouth didn't bring many the upper Doug Ellis is completely available for villa fans so unlikely to sell out today
  19. @OutByEaster?, any feedback on the food and drink trials that have been taking place in the lower Holte. Some great initiatives that have really made a difference to queueing times. All seem a huge success to me. Any feedback on thoughts around premium seating in the Holte, the recent survey alluded to a few things, would be great to see what the club is considering. Keep up the good work, its appreciated.
  20. As others have said, i dont really see an Agenda here, just a really difficult squad to get into and in reality he needs to be better than Toney. All the rest are picking themselves. Out of the two, i think id have picked Toney. Sorry Ollie. Keep plugging away.
  21. Yes, he commented recently and said he didn't want to create false hope. If he felt someone was ready, they would be there.
  22. I think we'll finish 11th, so many below us will be fighting for points in the run in, teams like us who are safe but with little to play for typically tail off. We are in the group that everyone wants to play now.
  23. yes, focus on the team not individuals. Everything ive seen about Ramsey suggests to me that he will learn well and work hard. Ive no reason to think he wont be brilliant under Emery.
  24. I was reading some of Ollie comments about himself and Buendia and the specific instructions that Unai gives them. I assume similar is true for Ramsey. Previously we would love seeing him pick up the ball and run 40 yards with it. Under Unai i assume he has some very specific instructions about where he picks up and releases the ball, where he needs to be positioned defensively. Ultimately these instructions will be aimed at improving the team but may in the short term limit Ramseys natural game. I dont think hes playing badly, we just dont need one individual to carry us 50 yards on their own anymore.
  25. ruins the roll, an unnecessary addition fuelled by the dirty burger merchants. Get it out of my burger.
