  1. There are always 2-3 PL teams that struggle in LC against highly motivated opponents. Just look at Fulham today! The important thing is how we dig our heels in and how we transform the struggle to a solid victory.
  2. I usually hate LC, but I am happy with victory, some more match time for Kamara (who as a new signing need time), some decent attacks and a couple of goals that gave a couple of players more confidence. Also good to see Luiz again, as I think he will be great - but of course he is a bit young being only 24 years and will therefore have wild swings in performances.
  3. Nice goal from Leon. And good assist from McGinn.
  4. I actually love this match. Not so much because of the play, but got the chance of putting in a 300 pound bet on livebet with good odds when Bolton scored. Better not **** this up.
  5. Think it has been an ok performance. Good that some of the players get competitive match time and some even maybe improve their confidence. Looling forward to match on Sunday.
  6. I like the team he has chosen. And I actually thought we missed Luiz in the match Saturady.
  7. I am usually a very patient man. But I am really struggling with seeing what Gerrard is trying to achieve. What is his project on the pitch after seeing the players he has bought. He has to show us that, or else I think he will be off this autumn.
  8. Congrats. This tournament was a big disappointment for Norway, but happy with English victory. Think this will do women football all good in the world.
  9. That's the beauty of signing foreign players. We get the triple excitement. First the signing. Then when they show some glimpses after a bit rusty start. Then right at the second season after they have adjusted to the league and had a whole pre season
  10. I think Ludwig will be a quite useful player during this season. Not a starter, but he will improve our squad and he will have his fair share of solid performances. Happy that we also do get squad players that improve our squad.
  11. With the football game at total shambles (WC in Qatar, top clubs wanting to create their own league, corruption cases in FIFA and allowing dirty money into the game), I am looking forward to watch some of the Euro Championship matches. Specially the Norwegian matches, where er have a couple of high profile players. It's ridiculous that Ada Hegerberg had a yearly wage at 425 000 US dollars, after winning the Ballon D'or (for women) once and Champions League final 3 og 4 times.
  12. It's probably an individual thing. I think (and then I'm speaking from a personal experience) that pressure makes you desperate to not make mistakes. Meaning you hoof the ball away in difficult situations instead of spending too much time on the ball and ending up losing it or sending it to a team make who ends up in a bad position/situation. But we will see how this unfolds.
  13. Maybe Mings just need some more competition to take away his errors. I think he will improve when under pressure. And I also see no point in getting rid of players that has been in our starting 11 all season when getting in even better players (hopefully). We should keep our starting 11s when we improve the team and rather get rid of those who have not been good enough for the team this season. That's the way of improving a squad.
  14. I think he should have taken off Ramsey. He was really not having a good match and he started to get tired.
  15. I will give Gerrard until christmas. Think he will get us some decent players and that we will be in a good position. Think both Digne and Coutinho have class and have shown it several times. Three new players into our startin 11 and we will be good.
  16. Football is a funny and frustrating game. Before the 70th minute, it looked like Pep has really bottled it, doing all three subs and the team still struggling. Then it looked like Gerrard bottled it, not being able to get in the right fresh legs for the last 20 minutes.
  17. I think Russia is a prime example of limitations of authoritarian leadership with absolutely no checks and balances and everyone living in fear for getting punished if something goes wrong. China is not there yet (Xi have to win his party's approval this autumn for another term - meaning that is his checks and balances), but their authoritarian mindset has indeed been shown for the whole world during this covid fiasco, where their strategy probably would have been scrapped a long time ago (by buying Pfizer og Moderna vaccines that actually work so that they could open up like the West have done).

The rats are abandoning the Putin ship.
  19. Luka will probably fall from inside. No invation needed there.
  20. The Ukrainian president seems to be doing everything right. What a man! And with the boxer who is the Mayor of Kyiv, they have a leadership that really lifts the moral of their people.
  21. I actually think Konsa should start next match as CB and Chambers should start as DM.
  22. I think Ings was better than I have seen Watkins in the latest matches. He tried more, did not lose the ball in dangerous situations and looked sharp. Hope he starts next match.
  23. I think Luiz will be a world beater in the right club. Probebly Arsenal. And we will not understand anything when he has an enormous success.
