Unbelievable. How these players have gotten away with this behaviour for so long and how the club have let this attitude thrive is baffling. I hate this club.

I came so very close to applying for an in-house legal role at Aston Villa. Man if I had actually done it I'd be going through every clause of his contract with a fine-tooth comb and looking at cases as far back as English law goes to find a reason to sack him.

If we can't sack him, completely banish him. Make him report to training with the U15s (if he refuses, sack him), delete him from the website and just never acknowledge that he is or has ever been part of the club other than as an U15s emergency subsidiary back-up under-reserve.

Yup like others have said, certainly looks better on the shirt but still basically a pile of crap.

I don't think that could be the case as it is so similar to our current badge that (almost ironically) use of this 'new design' would definitely be trade mark infringement anyway as well as a breach of copyright and definite passing off.

As villa89 says. We don't know for sure but as it has been filed as an EU trademark and it matches the description the media are reporting, I would say it's 95% certain. Also, it has been filed under so many classifications that it pretty much can't not be the new badge as by doing so they're sort of saying that they will be using the badge on all merchandise and other items (such as the kit). So we can be confident it hasn't been filed to cover, say, a one off piece of merchandise.

Hutton is my favourite Villa player. Rubbish at football but has at least kept at it and looked up for the fight. Everyone around him has given up so where he even finds an ounce of motivation I don't know, but he at least seems to care.
