I'm sure some people make up their mind who they are going to scapegoat before the match starts and refuse to change their opinion regardless of performances in the game. Brad has been back to form and Bacuna wasn't playing, so that only leaves Westwood.

For someone so big, he is incredibly poor at using his body to shield the ball when he has his back to goal.

He was very weak and hesitant today. He has always seemed to blow hot and cold, he doesn't need to be in our starting XI when he is on such a poor run.

He looks less of a standout performer with every game. Hope he pulls it around soon.

Definitely can't see Sherwood turning us round, whether he gets sacked in time for someone else to I'm not so sure.

Yeah, completely agree with that, he needs to be a bit cleverer about where he picks the ball up. Gonna be good though.

He did a lot good but also a lot bad. Not helped by often receiving the ball under pressure, deep in our own half, facing our own goal.

He didn't track Sturridge for the third goal then nearly gifted him another one.

I find it difficult to get too upbeat about any line up that has Rudy as the main man, let's hope his goal against Blose has inspired him.

Westwood has improved year on year. Veretout, as a highly rated £7m signing from France, may well develop into a better player, but if he had been a £1m signing from Crewe, based on performances for us, he would already have been written off by many.

I have always been happy to defend Westwood (without resorting to Opta stats) on account of him working hard to improve as a player, but after three years here he needs to be doing better than he is at the moment. Looks like he will stay in the team since Gana's injury is worse than it seemed. He is a better player than the last few games suggest.

Although he hasn't played particularly well this season I don't think he has been as bad as some are saying, and it is unfair to lay all the blame on Bacuna. He is left isolated on many occasions, and has had a number of different players in front of him in the wide right position. He no longer has the big man in the middle to cross to, and didn't play as RB in pre season. I really don't think Hutton is a better option, whether we have anyone else who is remains to be seen.

Absolutely furious with Tim's subs, and they were the main problem, but all game we overplayed in dangerous positions and that led to the first goal.
