  1. Shocking behaviour with that throwing the ball back, we might be desperate but let's try and have some class.
  2. I'm tired of us trying to walk the ball into the net already. Bring it on!
  3. Maybe he is feeling the pressure of being the one that is supposed to make things happen for such an unhappening team. Whatever the reason, he could do with a bit of time out, I think Gil needs to be in the team and I don't think we can afford to play both.
  4. I thought he did quite well, passing not good but ok defensively. Shouldn't be keeping Amavi out of the team, but that isn't his fault.
  5. He did ok today in a position that he is never going to excel in, unlucky hitting the post.
  6. He has some incredible ball control, starting to look like a player.
  7. Some poor distribution tonight, but made a lot of challenges and broke up play well.
  8. Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear.
  9. Good luck Remi, I hope you know a good number 9 who will be willing to join us in January.
  10. Sit deep, play Traore and just let him run with it from just outside our box.
  11. I think all we need to survive is an immediate change of manager and a decent number 9 on 02Jan16. There is enough quality in the squad.
  12. He was wasteful going forward as usual, but he played Montero very well.
  13. Abysmal once again, his lack of mobility wouldn't be such a problem if he read the game well, but he doesn't.
  14. The best Ayew on the pitch today, linked up well with Hutton.
  15. He was a passenger today, Brian Little on the commentary called it right when he questioned his movement and desire to get in on crosses. His heading is his only worthwhile attribute, but there were several occasions today where he just wasn't getting into the right positions for the ball that was about to come in.
  16. He made a great save earlier and I don't blame him for the free kick goal - if anything, he may have moved late rather than being out of position, but to me that is just a good strike.
  17. I think Monk will be looking at our teamsheet and thinking 'wtf? - they must have some cunning plan...'
  18. As above, but I also hate people insisting on using a card for a £3 purchase. Cash is king!!!
  19. I don't think Traore up front would work, possibly playing behind Gestede would offer opportunities for him to run at the centre backs and also force the opposition defence a bit deeper, which would help Gestede. I'm not sure I would be rearranging the team on account of him just yet though.
  20. I thought he had a good game, back to how he was in his first few games for us.
  21. He showed good feet at times and worked back quite well, set up our best chance too. Needs to be in the danger areas more, though.
  22. At times on Saturday it was like watching a rugby player, just running straight ahead for a couple of yards straight into a tackle. The fact that teams double up on him doesn't really seem to open up any space for other players because he won't pass it.
  23. I cant see Rodgers coming here, and the suspicion with him is that the good work he has done at his previous clubs has been built by the manager before him, I don't think he would fancy building on Tim's foundations.
  24. The rest of your post is void because literally nobody said this. "Pretty well' was the highest praise he received. At the end of the day, he created our best chance that Richards should have finished. yet was directly culpable for their goal. The centre halves will be glad that you absolve them of any blame.
