  1. Think he put his balls on the line there for one block today Lol, yeah I would rather miss the final.
  2. Very good today, but let's see if he is prepared to get sent off and miss the final to get us 3 points
  3. Probably his best game for us today. Not sure why he would want to leave us to go to another middling club now that he is playing so well under Sherwood.
  4. Can't believe how much better than them we were, the midfield was brilliant. Such quality goals too.
  5. I have a lot of respect for Westwood. Given his lack of experience and coming into the sort of dysfunctional team we have had, battling relegation 3 years in a row, many players would have wilted and been excused for it under the circumstances. Westwood has shown grit and improved as a player in that time, and although he is never going to set the world alight, he will be a player of premier league standard if he isnt already. I don't see the point in getting rid, he hasn't reached his potential yet and I don't doubt that he will fulfil his potential in the future.
  6. I like Sanchez, and although there is hopefully some truth in saying that he will improve once he is fully up to the speed of the Prem league, I don't think he will ever be the steady reliable DM that people want. He believes in his own talent, and is happy to take risks playing in a position that doesn't go well with risk. He plays on the edge, with a smile on his face, and as a 29 year old international he might not feel that he needs to change too much. I think he is one of those players where you will have to live with the errors. Some might not think that he is worth it, but I see a lot of positives in what he brings. He isn't Makelele and I don't think he wants to be.
  7. Very good today, he is our best defender so while he is here he should play.
  8. Very good today, he has certainly responded positively to Sherwood's management.
  9. I thought he had a good game today, ok still some mistakes, but too many people seem to focus only on what he does wrong.
  10. I'm not expecting anything from this, but this is the weakest Spurs squad for many years. I think we could snatch a score draw.
  11. Bringing Lowton on at LB to play against a rampant winger probably wouldn't have gone any better.
  12. To only come out with a point after being so dominant in the first half is gutting, but their change to three at the back seemed to flummox us. Richardson let us down, but we do have central defenders that are supposed to mark people too, so he shouldn't take all of the blame. Two points down the drain.
  13. QPR should be more worried about us than we are about them. I think we will crush them.
  14. I am no fan of Weimann, but I thought he actually had one of his better games yesterday.
  15. Even if he was the best player ever, I would still be annoyed by that thing he does when he starts flailing his arms about like a girl because he has just realised he has absolutely no idea where he is supposed to be on the pitch. Slow, weak, positionally poor and flaily armed. Admittedly he can pass a bit.
  16. Not a lot to really say about that performance, we were still in it (technically) I suppose right up to the end, but some worrying decisions from the manager. Clark and Okore did well.
  17. Lukaku pulled out of the squad days ago.
  18. To be honest I would sooner trust Delph on his weaker foot from 30 yards than Weimann from 10.
  19. Swansea probably shaded it over the 90 minutes, but we looked decent, particularly second half and really should have had at least one goal. Sinclair had a bit of a mare today, and our chances of winning went off with Benteke, very disappointed to see Weimann come on rather than Gil. Montero changed the game, but he is a good player rather than Bacuna being poor, the pass to Gomis was perfection.
  20. Fantastic performance, we had so many options when going forward it was unreal. A lot of players with a decent shout for motm, but I thought Delph was excellent throughout the game.
  21. Well he actually got into the opposing penalty box against WBA, only once, but I don't think I had ever seen him that far forward before.
  22. Grealish clearly initiates the contact, and you can tell from the way he changes the angle of his foot to do it that it is deliberate.
