Jed is a very good keeper trouble is he just cant stay fit. With 4 keepers on the books it would be crazy to buy one more when there are so many other positions that need sorting. Either we need to sell everyone but Heaton or play them until Heaton is fit. He should be back in a couple of months so don't think we should be spending 15-20% of our budget on yet another keeper I'd start the season with Jed in goal, if he makes a massive mistake/gets injured then bring Nyland in.

Let's not forget there was a new rule introduced a few years ago where a player cannot be at 3 clubs in one season. This means Man City cannot buy him back to just sell him on, so the question really is if they feel he is ready to become a first team squad member or not. I personally don't think he is yet so we have nothing to worry about.

Well the thing to understand here is that all these links are from various media outlets - so that's where the media see us at the moment, making up links to players who they think we can get. In reality since the new owners have come in they (the media) have no idea who we are signing as was proven last summer. Just have to be patient and ignore these rumours, put your feet up and watch some cricket

Happily let them both go, we need to improve drastically up front - it is by far our weakest area Pretty happy with the rest of the team, but if we want to get to where we want to be we need to be ruthless this window. So what I really wanted to say: Edouard plays for Celtic in a league where Rangers are the only half decent opposition, so he wouldnt even be playing against Celtic as he plays for them! His name pops up on every page, but really that league without Celtic is league 1 standard, perhaps lower.. It would be like paying 40m for Ivan Toney or Paddy Madden, I'm not against signing players from there as McGinn, Van Dijk and possibly a few others have proved decent. But we're talking 40m here.

Mitrovic - don't think he's half as good as some people here think he is. Decent player roughly 1 in 4 goal raitio in the prem, but he is very slow. Seeing how much he would cost its a definite no from me. We need pace in the side, our midfield is slow, our wingers are slow, and our strikers are slow Our quickest players in the team are all defenders, Guilbert, Konsa and Mings. We cant score on the counter due to this reason, so I think Mitrovic would just be ineffective and waste of 25-35m
