Hi general, A few months back I asked if AVTV were planning on showing reserves/youth football live (like that UEFA cup tie they did) I also mentioned at the time if they weren't planning it then they should as it would invite a lot of subscribers to AVTV. You said at the time you would look into it, have you had the chance?

Interesting to see how many people have been shown the red card in the last few years. See first page for example, more reds than not.

How about you turn that last bit around - the one season he actually performed, we did a lot better. That says to me we always had a decent enough side just never scored enough goals. For me there was one reason, and one reason only for that. So why is it that when we bought proven goalscorers like Baros and Phillips they couldn't find the net either? Its simple, the team they were playing in weren't creating enough chances. World class strikers like Henry and Ronaldinho would have scored more as they can create their own chances, but players even in RVNs standard need service.

There's nothing more annoying than people saying he had one good season! He scored over 60 goals for the club, how many Villa players have done that in recent years?

Hi General, Just wanted to say its a great idea to show the game V Litex live on AVTV tonight, and wanted to thank all involved in making this happen. Not sure if this has been asked/mentioned before, but it would be brilliant if all reserve / youth games could be shown in this fashion and im sure the number of subscribers would increase very sharply. Are there any plans to show reserve/youth games in the future?

Didnt Alan Smith say that? Id rather have Barry than Downing but wouldnt play him left wing.

Gareth Barry is a talented footballer, hes in a small group of players who are english and left footed. Along with downing (who ive seen plentyful)this is the only reason hes getting a mention for the England squad. like someone said earlier if they were right footed they wouldnt even get a mention. Im another believer that GB best position is actually left back, but villa not having a proper left winger in the last few years has forced him to play that position and hes always been indifferent there. A lot of people are saying barry is too slow. I wouldnt say hes slow, i just think hes a slow because hes playing as a winger. The fact is that hes no slower than McCann, Laursen or Hendrie but a winger demands a faster player. As for England i dont see why they wont play wright philips down the left, i personally think he makes a better winger than beckham but sven will never drop him. Pires and Overmars are living proof that a right footer can be an excellent left player. dont forget Henry used to play there too.
