Might not start every match but certainly an explosive option from the bench, should we keep him.

Wise move to bring in a competent player on loan to act as back up to a strong first team defender. He will be better than having Young as second choice LB and at the same time put the money we would have spent on a perm signing and put it in into a high quality central midfielder and maybe a striker.

Funny thing is that Nyland and Kalinic are full internationals too. Olsen doesn't exactly inspire confidence but he's likely be a lot better than the other two.

Anyone think QPR will go for him now that Beale is there? Or is there a chance he might go back to Preston? Can't see him being part of our squad just yet. One more full season in the Championship will do him good.

I disagree with everyone that's saying it's a backwards step for him. I think it's a step up actually - imagine if you moved from managing a mid table Championship side with probably not much scope for improvement to going and working alongside one of the best young managers in the country at probably the most exciting club in the country right now with state of the art training facilities and very rich owners who are taking us places. Also the potential to maybe be the next Villa boss one day.

I used to work with one of the assistant coaches at QPR (Matt Gardiner) when had a normal job about 15 years ago. Might have to put in a non-threatening word with him about this

We need someone to elevate the profile of the club and he is a massive global star. On paper he's easily our best player. If we can sign him early on and manage him well during the off season and give him a good preseason we should see an improvement in his performances.

I don't think he is as bad as players like Watkins and Konsa but he's had an awful last few games and was played out of position against Wolves. He should be playing further forward but that's not going to happen unfortunately. Squad player next season hopefully.

Cash in along with Konsa in the summer as he will command a decent fee.

We need to cash in quickly before his stock falls further. Chambers needs to play every game now, at least he wasn't a disaster waiting to happen.

Konsa won't be getting back into the team at this rate. Chambers has been brilliant. Sublime pass in the last game and what an absolute joke of a goal today!
