I understand that, but we are not there yet. Emery has been at the club for under 2 months. Its not about just playing games, he needs to be around the first team squad to soak up the philosophy, the adversity of not playing every game ect. If we were a top 8 club then it would makes sense to loan him to a team that has just been promoted, but as I said earlier, we are not there yet. Currently we are a lower/mid - mid table club.

I do disagree with the above.. Any team that gets promoted is considered a rival, imagine if we had loaned Jacob Ramsey to Brentford or Fulham? We are not far off from those teams in terms of quality and consistency.

I don't think that we are good enough to be loaning our brightest talent to a rival premier league club. If he is good enough to be loaned to a Premier League club then he is good enough to be in our squad imo.

Although he scored tonight. Where we are currently as a football club, we cannot afford to have a striker that needs a minimum of 8 chances to score a goal.. He needs replacing..

It's hard to asses if you are estimating this 4 goal tally based on Summerville's performances. There has been a lot of dysfunction in this squad and goals have been hard to come by for the large portion of the season.

I think that is a very harsh comparison to make. Summerville is ahead of Archer in terms of development and they are different archetypes

I am extremely impressed by this man. We were switched on mentally in the first half and that enabled us to frustrate United and execute a deployed strategy. The second half we started well but we lost our way mentally and the changes contributed to our downfall. Our players need to be rotated and UE needs to know his players in a match day situation. Give him time with the squad and the right players in January and this ^^^ will happen in my opinion.

He is not built for this league.. May be a good player but not for the premier league, he is better served in a slower pace, less physical league.. He is better than no cover I suppose..

My thoughts still haven’t changed.. and it shows to why he wasn’t called up.. But playing alongside Chambers never helped him whatsoever. I think once Carlos is fit it will be Carlos and Konsa at the back..

Tactically we look spot on. How many times have we caught them offside? We have lacked quality moving the ball forward and Chambers has looked shaky. Overall the game plan has worked.
