He change things at the 2nd half and won the game comfortably. So I am not worried about him in England, and his European record speaks for itself.. He is everything we want in a coach, he will change shape according to the opposition, the players will know their roles, he can coach at a high level, he can identify quality players in the market and he is very passionate on the touchline. I honestly believe that we are about to be part of something exciting and maybe special..

Emery gets the time because of his track record and he is a talented enough coach to help improve things.

We have spent £38 million on him and he has been poor and does not look convincing at this level.

I just hope that our recruitment strategy changes. Instead of signing high profile players, I would rather us sign talented players that can fulfil their roles. Players like Trossard (Genk) and Bissouma (Lille) before their big moves are players we should be going for.. I saw a post stating we spent £70million on Buendia & Watkins.. Our recruitment has been poor since our 2nd season back in the premier League

Tuesday will be the beginning of something new and exciting. Let’s leave todays result where it belongs and move forward with our new head coach and backroom staff. He will have time to drill his ways into our team before the transfer window. Now is a time to be positive and move on.

Buendia is not physically suited at this level

Pako is a very good appointment if true. He speaks better English than Unai currently and can help the communication barrier between the manager and British players. He is also a high level assistant manager..

It is evident that not all of our players will blossom under this new regime. If it means that the player is surplus to requirements due to a learning gap and fitting into a system then so be it.. The manager needs to be backed by everyone involved with the club. It will be interesting to see who will rise and who will fall in the coming months..
