We missed him at times, he just has a knack of picking out spots to intercept the ball.. Forest at home will be a perfect match for him to return.

I was one of those fans that thought he was a limited player. He seems to be determined to grow his game. He has improved in terms of patience on the ball.. During the first half, at times in the middle of the park he controlled the tempo with patience and thought out passes. I am looking forward to see how he evolves his game over the summer into next season.

The reality is that if we get a Euro place we will need him for squad depth. We are light on the wings, and if we are playing Thursday night and Sunday afternoon.. We will need fresh legs.

I like him a lot! I don’t know if anyone noticed but Emery was having a go at Moreno a few times in the 2nd half. It just proves how well he can play for us but the standards of UE are still very high.

No brainer for me Clubs like Newcastle would be after him though

I said whilst Gerrard was manager that if we get Emery he will get us in the top 10 this season and Europe next season. I am extremely delighted that we have this man in charge, with his backroom staff, his footballing brain and high level coaching ability.. IF we are able to get Antonio Cordon as Sporting Director then I think we all will need to hold on tight because we'll be on one hell of a ride. The most impressive thing about Unai is that he has our players adopting his style and gameplan, just imagine if he has the resources and a full pre season.. I honestly cannot see how this can possibly go left.. Exciting times ahead!

The difference is that Spurs are consistently a top 5 club and we are not.. / We all have difference in opinions, I just think if a club offers £85- 90+ million for Emi then we should sell him.. There are clubs that have finished above us with worse Goalkeepers..

I think they money can be used to improve our squad. Controversial opinion.. But.. I don’t see the benefit of having a world class goalkeeper if we’re a mid table club trying to break the top 10 - 8. If we had a world class striker or midfielder then we would have to keep him 100% and build a squad around that player..

So.. He is our best goalkeeper of recent memory, however this does not mean that he is exempt of criticism. Despite saying a few months ago that the time wasting didn't bother me it has begun to gripe me now.. I just feel like the time wasting is not progressive football, I would rather our team try to keep the ball with short passes. Emi is in a weird position in terms of his career, he is playing catch up because he has peaked later in his career and now he has accumulated this success in a span of 2/3 years of first team football.. Remarkable tbh So I understand his eagerness to progress and I don't blame him if he wants to move on because he is high level and is currently the top 5 Goalkeeper in world football right now.. But if he does not get on with Unai then he has to go, there can't be two different voices in the dressing room..

I can see Emery being interested in Raya at Brentford or Sanchez at Brighton.. Both ball playing goalkeepers that are Spanish.
