KjParton
Set to take place today (Thursday 8th) at 12:30pm presumably on sky. Who do we want? IMO i want SHA at Villa Park.
OutByEaster? Posted August 8, 2013 Moderator Share Posted August 8, 2013 The draw for the second round is today at 12:30 and we're in it. Who do you fancy? Information on teams here I'm not sure if the seeded teams can't play each other at this stage, if that's the case, then it can't be small heath - anyone fancy another trip to Bescot? AndyM3000
Burton, Cheltenham, Walsall, MK Dons or Peterborough away would be lovely. As much as it might be good for the club theres nothing worse than a home tie at this stage for me, very boring, low crowds etc. Chance to get a good away tie at a lower league club. At least we cant draw Bradford.
Paddywhack
I'd love Leyton Orient, just because it's my Father-in-law's team. Walsall would be nice too. Other than that I'm not too fussed at this stage.
Richard
I was pleased to see Bradford get knocked out. They royally p'd me off last season and they are my new club to dislike! Burton away please!
Mammoth10
Bristol City, Cheltenham, MK Dons, Preston or Rotherham would be decent away trips, Burton perhaps too in a more meaningful game.
VILLAMARV
Newport away would be interesting
AValon
Was banking on Plymouth tbh, but...........
Stevo985 Posted August 8, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted August 8, 2013 If Walsall play like they did in the friendly I'll take them please!
The Fun Factory
Its our year for the cup. They owe us after the Bradford farce....So here comes a 2nd round defeat! Isnt it going to be our only match for about 3 weeks?
Rodders
Got a feeling we'll get a PL team like West Ham. Otherwise, anyone fancy one more crack at small heath? Nah me neither. Away to a league two side please

PaulMcGrath_5
I don't think seeded teams can be drawn against each other?
AndyM3000
We are seeded so we will draw a league 1 or 2 club.
Shillzz
Newport away please, might be tempted to go along in that case. Then again, it's still Newport, so perhaps not.
Troglodyte Posted August 8, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted August 8, 2013 I never knew the League Cup was seeded. Is that a new thing?
AndyM3000
Just this round I think, next round is open IIRC. I think its to ensure the lower league teams get a bigger team and gains them more money than if they just draw each other but im not 100% on that. They used this seeded system last year.
