leemond2008 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I am just watching an old bottom DVD (series 2) and whilst it is still hilarious I cant believe how dated it seems now (I know it is 20 years old) I still love it but I recon that if you got someone to watch it for the first time now they would struggle with it. A few others that I have thought are dated that I have watched recently was The Royle Family and The League of Gentleman. any other shows that surprised you at how much they had aged

Jimzk5 Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 The young ones, I actually think bottom has aged quite well compared to what is essentially the same show. Mayby its the political theme in the young ones Fawlty towers, never found it funny, think it was too slapstick. Little Britain, royal family, Catherine tate, all shite from the first second 1
Houlston Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Fawlty towers, never found it funny, think it was too slapstick. Burn him 1
Davkaus Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 I can't think of any sitcoms that have aged well, with the exception of Blackadder, and possibly Red Dwarf.
