Pilchard
an idea about modern day money money money football. Mate, you need to keep up, I don't think we're a player in this arena anymore Even in the relegation battling end of this league, or in the Championship - even League One and Two - it's all about the money. CI
The academy, youth and reserves have been the most positive aspect of our club The work that Tony McAndrew, KMac and Sid etc have done is a great success Our scouting has been shite, that area needs major attention

We don't need changes there, we need wholesale changes in the first team set-up - that's the one that immediately matters as that is what brings the money to the table. Currently I'm losing faith in the way our club is heading and wouldn't want us to rely on kids from the Academy.
Pilchard
We are currently relying on the academy players. We can't win a game to save our lives. Are they that good?
PauloBarnesi
and saw football and results similar to what we have now. He signed Oyvind Leonhardsen because he saw his name on the back of a er I am afraid that’s not quite true. We got 45 points. I would be amazed if we achieved that. We won 11 games at home... Taylor >>>>>> McLeish Taylor’s second coming was crap, but the first coming of McLeish is dreadful, dreadful, dreadful.
imavillan
Where the hell is Lerner? Look at any successful business and generally theres a common theme.......good strong leadership coupled with a sound knowledge base of the product. The man is invisible and leaves the running of our club to Paul Faulkener. A man who was in charge at MBNA!!! Says it all really......we're are being led by The Invisible Man and an investment banker. Their track record on managerial appointments and footballing matters is quite frankly appalling. CI
Based on wealth of owner ?
TheEgo
Based on wealth of owner ? Doesn't work like that though does it? Not that straight forward. The only real basis is the income generated and the ongoing expenditure. We were 54 million in debt last year, would have been 25 million more had Lerner not put in the additional money. It would be like me saying my wage is bigger than yours, however if my mortgage is twice as big and I have far less to spend, does that make me richer? That deliotte list is a pile of bollocks it doesnt show the real financial state of any football club.
