The debt was increased recently as a result of spending on defence, to the point where there was no money for Obamacare.. I was curious about the claim that defence spending in the US was increased causing no money for the health thing. It's not true. Which isn't to say that the US doesn't spend one heck of a lot of money on the military and defence, or that what they spend on health is or isn't enough. But it's not true that people are missing out on health care because the nasty man spends the money on soldiers instead, which is what is implied. While it's not true that they have increased money on defence and spent it on health instead. You could argue it is true that the US spends an inordinate amount of money on things like defence and space travel when a lot of their general populus misses out on health care. Yep, unless some horrendous (and true) story about Hilary breaks before the election then I reckon she's a shoe in. Republicans might have won it with David Patreus if he'd abstained from knobbing his biographer and then getting caught, but he did and the rest of the nominees are cream faced loons. She's not great, but probably the safest option at this point and hopefully strong enough to deal with the war that breaks out during her first term. Ted Cruz really comes across as a massive rocket polisher. At least with Trump, you know that he knows he's a knob and he just doesn't give a ****. Ted Cruz looks pure evil. But because he's a Socialist, the typical Amero-Pavlovian response is that he is the insane one. We'll end up with what we deserve and then export the byproduct to the rest of the world.
