wedge Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 We've just won at the home of the champions by scoring four goals past them so we're bound to lose this.
hogso Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Let's hope we carry this good performance into our next game. Just like we did after we beat Swansea.
AvfcTheObsession Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Home win. Lambert won't let the players fall into the same trap we did after our last win (against Swansea).
OutByEaster? Posted September 26, 2012 Moderator Posted September 26, 2012 Four nil. Not sure who to.
regular_john Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Will the real Aston Villa please stand up?
R.I.C.O. Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 You just can't predict this one. We havent seen a bore draw yet but this may be the one.
Czechlad Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Honestly I have no idea. West Brom are on good form and our results are so inconsistent.
8pints Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 After the Swansea and Southampton game I think Lambert will have stepped the intensity up and more players have some experience. I think we'll win 4-0, at least I hope we close them down well, especially around our own box, and take our chances.
CI Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Four nil. Not sure who to. Class :-) Does feel a bit like that at the moment
theboyangel Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Baggies are suffering with injuries to their fullbacks, with Reid, Popov and now Ridgewell injured! I really want us to win this, courtesy of an Olsson own goal after last season getting Herd sent off for f**k all at VP!
CI Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Problem is we don't really pressurise the opposition full backs We certainly didn't at Southampton and that was their glaring weak spots
SikhInTrinity Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Honestly think Baggies will try to come for a draw!
Morpheus Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 With their new manager i don't think the Baggies will come looking for a draw as we haven't earned that kind of respect yet. Would like to see the same team as played against Man City although wouldn't be surprised if Lambert tinkers again and if that is the case then i think we'll lose.
SikhInTrinity Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 A team coming to an away derby, I honestly think Clarke will be happy with a point but thats my opinion.
coda Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 No agent Ridgewell own goal if he's injured.
KSV Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 COming down for this one. Can't wait. First game at VP.
SikhInTrinity Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Awesome KSV. Hopefully your a lucky charm mate!
CI Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Surprised its not a noon KO Complacency from the old bill ?
Jimzk5 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Surprised its not a noon KO Complacency from the old bill ? id say if it was the time of year when it would be dark by full time no way would it kick off at 4pm, the fact it will still be light at 6pm & no real trouble every being reported after previous encounters has something to do with it, but yeah its surprising its kicking off that late
leevilla Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 We never play great on the telly so I'll go for a 1-1
