Qwpzxjor1
Ryan Bertrande from Chelsea is the rumour doing the rounds on Twitter. So that's a right back, a new centre back and a left back all being looked at very quickly by Lambert, along with a defensive midfielder. Shows his thoughts on our existing defence, and it's very much as we all suspected.
Villain-from-Texas
Surely Bertrand will stay at Chelsea. I can't imagine that he wants to leave or that Chelsea wants to sell.
Mattyp_avfc
if we get the players we want we could line up as -----------Given Lowton----------------Bertrand --------Clark----Ramis/Dunne -------El Ahmadi -------------Ireland N'zogbia---------------Holman --------Brahimi ---------------Bent
Qwpzxjor1
Decent team on paper that, but too many unknown quantities. Playing a young and inexperienced left back AND right back will not be in his plans IMO. I'd also expect Gabby to start wide of the front 3 instead of Holman (unless he is sold to Sunderland)
VillanousOne
I don't think Bertrand will leave now he has just broken into the Chelsea side properly and is rated by Di Matteo, if DM hadn't have been made full time manager then maybe.

CI
Bertrand is a non-starter, CL winner with Chelsea, not sure he'd be a good fit for us now

FamousHolteUnion
I think it's certain Sturridge will leave, he lost his club place since RDM came in and because of that lost the chance to go to the Euro's despite being in good form for AVB. With Hulk, Marin, Hazard, Torres, Mata all likely to be there for the starting attacking spots I imagine Sturridge would want out. Moses will have to have some playing time there too although for the life of me I cant see how he will get into that team ahead of those other players and Sturridge, madness they are signing him

macandally
Ireland gets the fan vote as he always comes over and claps the fans Doesn't make him a good value player What about all the weeks he took the piss out of the club & fans You dont half spout some shite. Player of the year because he clapped the fans, are you for real?
FamousHolteUnion
Chelsea have bid €25m for Andre Schurrle of Leverkusen (rejected). He's a wide man and can play up front. So if he (or another player as clearly they are after another for that area) comes in: Mata, Marin, Hazard, Torres, Schurrle, Hulk? Sturridge and Moses. Surely a bid for Sturridge would be worth a shot? Wouldn't mind selling Gabby to Sunderland and bringing in Sturridge, can play wide much better than Gabby which is where he's played anyway lol anda much better finisher. VillanousOne
I reckon Sturridge will go to Liverpool or somewhere higher up the food chain, he has one hell of an ego.
