I was backstage security at the infamous Beastie Boys riot at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool, holding back the BB's security posse on my side of a door and the baying crown on the other side of a shitty sliding plywood door. Fun times! RIP MCA I have some good memories of the music and a particularly scary one of one gig in particular, either way though he did actually have a very small impact on my life.
