Zatman
Said it before Mancini is a poor manager and City would crumble with him. The fans thought he would play silky football with them.
TheDon
The fans thought he would play silky football with them. They don't think that now Wonder how long he's got left?
Chindie Posted February 24, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted February 24, 2010 Mancini was never going to be a success there - he's not a good manager, by any stretch. Nor was he their first choice. Farcical, and hilarious for everyone else in the league. Well in Potters.

Reality
Apparently they were all set to win the FA straight after losing the Carling Cup semi. Small time is right.
villan83
Its amazing how a bit of money changes their atttiude, they think they are big time now. A few weeks ago Mancini was a god. Instead he will be off in he summer and another foreign coach will arrive, knowing that if they don't meet the owners expectations they will be out within six months. Hanky
Ha going to City to win more trophies Gareth? Agree with Chindie about Mancini, he was overrated in Italy and now his style of play has been found out.

Mr_Dogg
Mancini is freaking useless, definitely gone in May or before. The most negative manager in years.

villaajax
How brilliant would it be if it turned out that Citeh's owners didn't really have any money, much like the first guy who bought Portsmouth this season (they're on owner number 4 aren't they?) TrentVilla Posted February 25, 2010 Moderator Share Posted February 25, 2010 It made me laugh that people were falling over themselves raving about Mancini after he won his first couple of games, some of said it wouldn't last. He was given the easiest possible introduction to English football to try and ease him in and as soon as the games got a little harder he came up short. He won't be in charge by the start of next season I'm certain, I do though find it very funny all the City fans on the radio last night moaning and wanting sympathy. Jog on fella's. ED
In fairness he did ok in his first game as they beat stoke, who they've failed to beat 3 times since!
