wedge
Could easily see us slipping up here, they are currently sitting 19th in League Two. I'd play the kids and rest some of our "star players" for the must-win game at home to Everton the week after.
theboyangel
In a way, this has come at a good time and will allow AMC to 'rest' certain players, such as Petrov, Dunne and Warnock who have been pretty much ever present. I'd also look at mixing it up a little and play a combination of youth and experience ..................Guzan Hutton.Cuellar.Clark.Stevens Albrighton.Herd.Bannan.Johnson ...........Gabby.Weimman
hogso
Their last 3 home games; Bristol Rovers 2 - 5 Crewe Bristol Rovers 2 - 3 Plymouth Bristol Rovers 1 - 1 Swindon Our last 3 away games; Chelsea 1 - 3 Villa Stoke 0 - 0 Villa Bolton 1 - 2 Villa Is a mauling (in our favour!) out of the question? I think not. Agree with playing the kids, would be nice to see Stevens although I can't imagine he'd be fit to go straight into a match. Gardner, Bannan, Weimann, Alby, Williams, Johnson to start perhaps. Very much looking forward to it.
Shillzz
Pretty much everyone who played yesterday clearly needs a rest. With this in mind I'd play the following side: Guzan Hutton - Cuellar - Clark - Stevens Johnson - Bannan - Gardner Albrighton - Weiman - Delfouneso
supertom46
Definitely wouldn't go as far as putting Williams/Johnson into this game. Guzan Hutton - Cuellar - Clark - Delph Gardner - Herd - Bannan - N'Zogbia Ireland Weimann Subs - Marshall, Dunne, Petrov, Albrighton, Johnson, Agbonlahor, Bent. Or is it only 5 subs, in which case no Bent or Johnson.
wedge
I think AM needs to find the balance between resting senior players and giving some of the kids a game but making sure we still have enough to see them off.
pacbuddies
There is absolutely no way that we can lose this. This is a nailed on victory for the first time (and possibly the last) in McLeish's tenure as Villa manager.

KHV
I can honestly say I am shit scared of watching this game because I have a terrible fear that we could be embarrassed. I know we probably wont be but I cant help feeling very nervous about this one. I would rather sit through a feature length 90 min episode of Russell Grants postcards than watch this game and I think Russell Grant is a massive clearing in the woods
