A good player, just that though. bigger problem is the players that sky and the red tops like to label as world class, such as john terry, blatantly aren't, happens time and time again but 5/6 wins in the qualifiers and people seem to forget Could not agree with you more. brummybloke Posted October 7, 2011 Share Posted October 7, 2011 piss poor effort by the following parker - did **** all positive from the 40th minute onwards, did **** all defensively apart from put our own team under pressure and break up our forward play walcott- seriously, he is at very best hit and miss, it wouldnt suprise me if his only 1 cross tonight which went anywhere near a player was a mis hit rooney- before his sending off he was the worst of the 2 forwards and bent hadnt really done much but at least he wasnt losing the ball and fannying around with it in our own box, then got his fat shrek face sent off and completed his shit performance barry - cant remember him being on the pitch in the second half? downing - when he came on he was slilghtly less and anonymous lampard- a step backwards young was great, bent got his goal, cahill looked powerful, jones was 50/50 decent and horror, hart was good but couldnt stop the crumble, ashley cole was decent but made some right **** ups also, terry made a **** up for their first goal ( as did rooney and jones) first half we looked good for 40 minutes, barry was playing forward passes, young was an outlet and parker was shifting the ball sideways or forwards, jones was bursting forwards and breaking things up and bent was always on the last man then 40 mins come up and they all switch off for the rest of the game. Why did he take off Young who scored 1 and set up another? Why did he take off Bent who had scored? Why does he pick Walcott when he is shit? Why is Jones at right back when he clearly wasn't comfortable there when there are 2 in form natural right backs in the squad?
