briny_ear
Just been to the fans forum with Lambert. He won't play for villa again. Lambert got asked what's te situation with Makoun he responded with who?!?? I don't even know what he looks like. He said if u put him in a sat nav u still wouldn't find him.. Only interested in players who wants to contribute to Aston villaWonder why we haven't just terminated the contract then? (Maybe we have?) The silence from the club on this affair is very frustrating though maybe required because of the involvement of lawyers.

R.I.C.O.
"But......but....he was sooooo good in that one game against Man Utd" (a game we lost comfortably) I wonder where he is hiding? :x

Keyblade
Meh. We haven't seen him play for a year so it's not like we're losing someone. However, he is a good player (despite what his inexplicable haters would have you believe), and it would've been interesting had it worked out. Guess it wasn't to be. smetrov
There you have it, straight from the horses mouth. **** off then fancy jumpered mong. His loss. Top post. The guys a fool - when hes 50 he will wonder why he tossed his career down the drain. Looks like £3-£5m down the pan. All we can do his hold his registration - and hope someone buys this midfield maestro - what an appalling attitude.
Big_John_10
What a waste of money this fool was. One of many bad things from the short spell of Houllier.
briny_ear
he is a good player I'm afraid we saw scant evidence of that at Villa. An almost total waste of money. He's behaved like Tevez without the redemptive footballing ability that made everyone forgive him (Tevez) in the end.
BG
Oh Dear! There goes another five million quid. Thought he could have turned out half decent. File with Djemba-Djemba, Berson, Curcic, Lamptey, Fabio Ferraresi, Ivo Stas, Balaban.......etc, etc With our record on foreign imports compared to other top clubs i'm amazed we've managed to stay in the Premier League since day one, while throwing so much cash down the drain. We seem to fare better with Scandanavians / Dutch & Germans though. Its something that needs to be looked into.
Big_John_10
How can it be argued he's a good player? We didn't want him and the only team that did was one in the mighty Greek league. No no one is interested in him. An absolute waste.
Zatman
How can it be argued he's a good player? that 10 year career playing for top French clubs in Lille and Lyon be a good start plus his call up for last World Cup squad but you still can believe he wouldnt get a game for Fleetwood Town
R.I.C.O.
he is a good player He was shite for us, admit it. Totally out of his depth, and when the going got tough and he had to prove himself, he went AWOL!

moose
At least we can just draw a line under this whole sorry affair now.
Zatman
what does the ranking of the French league have to do with him not being a good player. Samuel Eto'o plays in Russia would you not take him for Villa, FFS our best player last season isnt exactly setting the mighty MLS alight.
tomaspg
thats a shame... i actually thought he could be pretty good here... hopefully it will mean some cleared up wages atleast
KAZZAM
Gutted rly felt he was always off the pace due to being bought in the january window.Only needed a decent pre-season to gain better fitness and was hoping Lambert would sort him out after he was frozen out by Mcleish. Wanted to see Makoun Ireland Kea midfield. More money pissed away.
