Popular Post Anthony Posted July 29, 2022 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted July 29, 2022 I refurb old laptops for a charity so they can go out in to the community to people who otherwise wouldn't be able to get online. We've just had a bunch of Dell laptops donated and they're LOVELY. This makes me happy, as they're going to be great for the end user and are quick and easy for me to work on. Also got donated some shitty old ones that have all kinds of problems and are going to take me ages to do. This also makes me happy as I like a challenge and a bloody good moan. sharkyvilla Posted July 29, 2022 Share Posted July 29, 2022 I had a nice day out at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, I took the Jamaican guy at work who has only been here for 7 months and a bit homesick and not really got out of our town, yeah it's nothing like the Caribbean but he seem to enjoy being by the harbour in bright sunshine. Got some good deals in the shops. Sometimes its great to add a full stop to the end of the working week and this is a perfect way to do it. WFH can sometimes blur the work/home life balance so I always try and make it in to the office on a Friday. Great ales, great pubs and a belly full of food.
