villa4europe Posted October 30, 2022 Share Posted October 30, 2022 Went to the 6th tier of German football today, parents in law local team Firstly 6th tier is the same as kiddy harriers, the set up is another 3 maybe 4 tiers below kiddys ground and quality of football, its a town of 5k people so shouldn't expect anything crazy but it's 100 people watching a pub team Secondly, the father in law was a Sunday league ref for 20+ years, he's got this little passport type thing with his photo in issued by the german FA that gets him in to every stadium in the country for free! As you say, it's a bit pub-team at that level, with a handful of somewhat-organised-teams. Ended something like 13-0 to TBB and Club Italia swapped goalkeepers to an outfield player at half-time, I suspect because he could actually reach the half-way line with his kicking.
