Up from the play offs I am sure its a better start than expecting 😛

Better than expected, definitely. But since we were top for the first few games, expectations have adjusted slightly. The giant is stirring ;)

Could be said for about 5 different teams in that league. Like the Championship its not big club friendly 😂

Union Berlin in trouble at home to Gladbach but managed to win with a goal in 96th minute. Maybe it's their season.

Deserved the win in the end, I felt. They’re a solid collective of players and they battle for every ball. I don’t think they have what it takes to go all the way, but this is great fun while it lasts.

No injuries and play in Europe will take it's toll and Bayerns bigger squad will be difference. Again. Hope they can push them right to end at least.

Went to the 6th tier of German football today, parents in law local team

Firstly 6th tier is the same as kiddy harriers, the set up is another 3 maybe 4 tiers below kiddys ground and quality of football, its a town of 5k people so shouldn't expect anything crazy but it's 100 people watching a pub team

Secondly, the father in law was a Sunday league ref for 20+ years, he's got this little passport type thing with his photo in issued by the german FA that gets him in to every stadium in the country for free! Not sure how it works with booking bundesliga tickets but it does work, he uses it for kaiserlautern, we just walked in today for free

The most bonkers game I've ever attended was in the German 6th tier, Tennis Borussia Berlin vs Club Italia back in... 2013 I think?  As you say, it's a bit pub-team at that level, with a handful of somewhat-organised-teams.  Ended something like 13-0 to TBB and Club Italia swapped goalkeepers to an outfield player at half-time, I suspect because he could actually reach the half-way line with his kicking.  Certainly bang for your Euro.  Though the stadium's currywurst did give me violent diarrhea.

Last couple of years 'Gladbach have definitely become the official Bundesliga dropped-points-from-winning-positions™ specialists.

Still, anything that keeps Bayern sweating is some consolation.  Don't we have a Union fan on here?  @AVFC_Hitz I've got it in my head that it's yourself?

Yeah, I'm the glory hunter here.

I tried on my 2005/2006 home shirt on the other day. Barely got it over my chest.

Normal service has resumed there though

Its killing what should be a great league, the set up is incredible but bayern are boring as ****

Again its not Bayern fault that Dortmund are a disgrace and want to be a feeder club, Leverkusen are all over the place and Leipzig are having a bit of an identity crisis
