Not quite sure what is going on in Gelsenkirchen but the boys are flying! 2nd in the league, but Dortmund next up away, would happily take a point to keep the unbeaten run going. However, definitely think Dortmund are there for the taking, and if they lost to Schalke this weekend Bosz would be gone for sure, he was never going to be good enough for them.

Pretty good article in a Swedish tabloid about Dortmund ahead of today's derby against Schalke 04.

Google translated as always.

Interesting that Arsenal are poaching both "super scout" Mislinat and Sporting Director Michael Zorc

The chaos and the noise behind the scenes

From record start to crisis - how is Borussia Dortmund actually?

First: Six wins on seven league matches.

Now: four losses on five league matches and the league in the Champions League.

When Borussia Dortmund is set against Schalke 04 in the season's first Revierderby, coach Peter Bosz is therefore fired.

But the coach's question is not the only one who smacks in the club.

Everything seemed to go on the rails. Borussia Dortmund had started the Bundesliga'sseason with an impressive 3-0 win against Wolfsburg, followed up with three more wins and a cross. In addition, Borussia Dortmund held zero in all of the five opening matches, a record that made the new coach Peter Bosz to the first coach in the Bundesliga story to start with that line.

At the same time, Borussia Dortmund scored one in the Bundesliga, best with a five-point lead down to Carlo Ancelotti's touring Bayern Munich.

- I'm proud of my team. This was not easy, it was even the hardest match so far, Bosz said after 3-0 victory against HSV in the fifth match.

At the same time, several of the players performed in the top teams. During the first five matches, the shooting king Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored five goals, followed by a hat trick in the 6th match, 6-1 crush, against Borussia Mönchengladbach. In addition, several of the team's countless promises sparked with the American super talent, Christian Pulisic.

What could be wrong?

Apparently just everything.

"About Reliability and Loyalty"

When Borussia Dortmund left the plan on 27 May, it was made as a cup champion. They had just defeated Eintracht Frankfurt with 2-1, a penalty shootout by Aubameyang made the decision when the club took its first title since the Super Cup victory in 2014.

But the gold confetti had barely caught himself when Thomas Tuchel's coach got fired.

"We would like to thank Thomas Tuchel and his coach for their successful job at BVB, culminating in the cup victory against Eintracht Frankfurt last Saturday. We wish Thomas all the best in his career, wrote the club briefly and in a first statement.

But not long after, the underlying causes began to roll out when club CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke handed out an open letter to club supporters who were not entirely satisfied with the club's decision.

- This squad has created history. Being grateful is very clear to our coach Thomas Tuchel and his team. That's when the fact that the roads between Borussia Dortmund and Thomas Tuchel are still part of our supportive criticism and lack of understanding meet, Watzke began.

Then he went to hard criticism. Against how Tuchel's cooperation did not work, how Tuchel had not taken responsibility as leader and how Borussia Dortmund did not understand how other clubs and companies work.

"It is always about basic values such as trust, respect, cooperation and communication skills, authenticity and identity. It's about reliability and loyalty. Unfortunately, we have not seen any basis for trust and promising cooperation in the current training situation.

Dortmund's talent factory: Five promising teens

Christian Pulisic, 19

American who was acquired as a 16-year-old. Made immediate success in the youth team, then moved to the A team where he is now a resident of the starting team. The offensive midfielder is already mentioned as the United States greatest talent throughout the ages.

Dan-Axel Zagadou, 18

French Ytterback as Borussia twisted on free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. Has already picked a starting point in Bosz team and also scored a goal.

Alexander Isak, 18

The Swedish assault promise was taken from AIK. Having gained greater confidence in the autumn after the first opening period. Thanked for it by making goals and assisting in his first start against Magdeburg in the cup.

Jadon Sancho, 17

Moved to Dortmund from Manchester City during the alert circumstances this summer. Pep Guardiola wanted to keep him and had an agreement with Sancho. Then the englishman drove off and wrote for Dortmund. Took over seven after Dembélé.

Jacob Bruun Larsen, 19

Danish exterior originating in Lyngby. Moved to Dortmund 2015 where he only made an A-team match so far. Played for Denmark in the Rio-OS 2014.

That Tuchel and Watzke's relationship was frosty was no secret. The first spell between the two had already been hit long before Tuchel and the extremely popular manager scout Sven Mislintat had landed in a club. Mislintat, honored as one of the world's leading scouts, called "Diamond Eye", and hand-picked players such as Robert Lewandowski, Shinji Kagawa and Mats Hummels, wanted to win Óliver Torres from Atlético Madrid. So far as the negotiations had begun. Then Tuchel intervened and interrupted the deal.

After that, their relationship - which eventually became worse - failed to heal. When Mislintat earlier this week presented his unexpected move from Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal, he confirmed that the relationship with Tuchel was the reason he now leaves Dortmund.

But it was far from the only breakpoint. On the other hand, management took a decision on Tuchel's back on several occasions, requests were made without the coach's permission and the decision to play the Champions League quarter against Monaco the day after the bomb attack against the coach bus. Both are areas where Watzke together with the sports director, including the radar partner, Michael Zorc made the decisive decisions behind Tuchel's back.

The fact that Tuchel was to be fired was only a matter of time. The internal fighting was largely external when Borussia Dortmund chose to kick Tuchel. Instead, BVB called in his replacement in Amsterdam where Peter Bosz had brought Ajax to a Europe League final against Manchester United.

Controversy over?

Hardly.

After that record-breaking season start, Borussia Dortmund's internal conflicts once again sailed to the surface.

"BVB fell into mediocrity"

Since 6-1 victory against Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund's form has fallen sharply. The match after meeting the Germans Real Madrid in the Champions League, lost and already dropped after both those and Tottenham they had lost in the opening match. After that, Borussia Dortmund won the league match against Augsburg with 2-1, but Bosz was critical for the first time.

- This was the worst game ever since I came here. You usually lose those matches, "said the Dutchman.

Since then, Borussia Dortmund has not won a single match. Instead, the finish line reads four league losses and a cross, which now places the club five in the league, nine points after Bayern Munich which they had left behind two months ago.

At the same time, Tottenham definitely sent Dortmund out of the Champions League on Tuesday, after "Die Schwarzgelben" in the previous two matches failed to defeat Cypriot APOEL.

This makes Bosz now from "Boss" to really questioned.

"Those who complained of Borussia Dortmund's voluntary separation from the successful coach Thomas Tuchel six months ago now feel eligible. Under Peter Bosz, BVB has fallen in moderation. " , Wrote German journalist Ulrich Hartmann after theTottenham loss.

But cracks in the club could already be discerned this summer. When Barcelona sold Neymar, received 2.2 billion in use, the Catalans quickly recited Borussia Dortmund's super talent Ousmane Dembélé. But Dortmund did not want to sell, instead chose to turn off the French-French Frenchman and keep him against his will.

Something like the club quickly got criticism because they did.

"We should not look at what this looks like for a club registered as a limited company," said Watzke.

"The whole Bundesliga should perhaps see how important it is to show strength now. Dembélé's behavior is not only an issue for us, but could affect all 17 other clubs in the future. They should be happy to knock down a big fat stop sign.

Unfortunately, for Borussia Dortmund's part, Barcelona failed in all traffic rules. A short week later, Dembélé was presented in blue and red while the Ruhr Club saw the snoop look forward and contented with retaining sought after Aubameyang. At least temporarily.

Now, after the initial goal form, the gabones have also begun to put wedges in the already hacking wheel.

Indeed, before the weekend's Bundesliga match, which would be a heavy loss against Stuttgart, Aubameyang was shut off. Outwardly communicated as "disciplinary reasons," according to rumors that he should have arrived late for training. The demented striker afterwards and against Tottenham was back on schedule.

Whatever the reason, the contest of the resurrection became a new question mark about Aubameyang's future in the club.

Worked in play in derby

In front of today's Revierderby against Schalke 04, Bosz is more pressured than ever. In Germany, he is criticized for his stubborn attitude to sticking to his Dutch tactics, the same tactics he was previously acclaimed for but now not working. Therefore, before the match against Tottenham, he was said to have won two matches to save the job. True, the data means a loss today a lost job.

When you are in a big club like Dortmund you have to win. When you do not do it for a long period, then the pressure increases, Bosz noted before the match.

But the coach situation is not the only thing the club has on the table. In addition, uncertainty is continuing higher. In addition to leaving Mislintat the club for Arsenal, Zorc is also rumored to pack the bag to walk the same route to the same club.

What does Borussia Dortmund do if both their managerial scout and sports director leave? What does it mean for their present and future?

What does it send for signals?

None of them defenders. :P

Don't understand why Dortmund are so lax about signing goalkeepers and defender.s There's talk of them wanting to sign Mikihitayran again, why they're already got about 8 wide players/strikers (Gotze/Schurrle/Abuameyang/Reus/Kagawa/Max Phillip/Yarmolenko/Pulisic)

Google translate if nothing else certainly adds a comedy factor to everything they translate.

Swedish word for wide defender "ytterback" has remained ytterback.

Striker talent is "assault promise"

And Danish winger becomes Danish exterior...

Just watched Dortmund-Schalke.......

One of the best matches I've ever seen. Had absolutely everything including a mass brawl on full-time. Ref blew up before the end of the allotted injury time, and I couldn't see Dortmund lasting another minute without conceding again! Bosz is nowhere near up to it at this level, and his players haven't a clue where he wants them to position themselves. Special word for Amine Harit, who will be a real player.

Now, can someone check on steve1986?

Shoving Pulisic up on his own after the red was pretty bad. Pulisic is a special talent but he can't lead the line upfront on his own at his age particularly for a team up against it.

Surely bringing on Schurrle would've made more sense?

I'm a huge Aubameyang fan, but his was one of the most needless, naive red cards I've seen.

Its obvious Aubameyang and the club have serious problems. Can they afford to sell him and crucially I cant see one of the real top clubs taking him except maybe Real

Might go to China or something.

Think it's obvious this will be his last year at the club, think it's time for both parties to move on.

I'm sure I read an interview in the past 12 months with Aubameyang saying Real Madrid was the one club he'd leave Dortmund for.

I have been in Dubai this weekend, and was just going to the beach when I saw the score was 4-0 to BVB, so was more than happy to avoid it. Checked again at the beach and saw 4-4 and was straight in to the sea! The game is simply massive, nobody understands over here how much bigger it is than Dortmund Bayern. The hatred between the two fans is just immense one of the best experiences I have ever been to and I have been lucky enough to go 3 times
