wiggyrichard
Sell for £30m and move on FFS, people talk as if hes a world class player and hes not. Hes had a good season just like the season when Ashley Young was talked about a big money move to Chelsea or Man Utd. Milner is easily replaceable, you could go out and get equal or better for £15-20m leaving money to put towards a new striker.
slowandlow
£30m is silly money really and we should take that, he is not world class, and is overrated imo think we can get a couple of players of a similar quality to him for the same money, even taking into account inflation of players values following any deal

Wainy316
I won't boo him either if he lives, unless he engineers by kicking up a Lescott style fuss to get a move to Cit-eh. A move that will benefit him in now way other than financially, and will probably even hinder him footballing wise.
Shillzz
I don't want to lose him. But if he has to go, it would be better if he moved to man city. If he doesn't go to city, then they'll still be on the lookout for a young English winger, the clue being in the title. We would also be able to kiss our hopes of landing Ireland goodbye. MCU
I love how everyone is confident that MON can actually spend 30mill well on overpriced players from a select region! This. People are picking names out of the bag on this forum like there's no tomorrow. Do you honestly believe we'll be signing anyone further than the UK? I don't think so. As much as I like MON as a manger and I've said it before, his transfer dealings 75% of the time are over priced or just awful! Saying that I wouldn't let Milner go for any less than 30M. So if we do get that then from MON's point of view who do we bring in? Jermain Beckford? My God. We're crying out for a striker here...

MikePreece
i wonder what the sell on fee is to newcastle? i think he has gone, he could have said said he was happy at Villa and not looking to move, but he didnt. I suupose the same thing happened last year with JT, he never came out and said that he wanted to stay with Chelsea, but in the end he did, guess we will have to wait at least 2 months before this is resolved
