I blame that thing they happen to be paying members of, allegedly in the latter's case. really? i thought Will Smith's previous 6 films (before his current one) ranged from good to excellent. Hitch - excellent The Pursuit of Happyness - excellent I am Legend - excellent Hancock - good Seven Pounds - great Men in Black 3 - good The Pursuit of Happiness and Seven Pounds we're excellent films. Will Smith was great in those. The others however we're pretty standard. Tom Cruise.... I watched Vanilla Sky last night, that's such a cool movie! Jeff Buckley and Radiohead on it too. Was awesome! Well made and beautifully shot. Not sure on the acting of the guy who played James Hunt though. Haven't see that one though i was freaked out with that film. Went to see Vanilla Sky in the cinema. I, Robot was the last decent thing he did. Even then, he's easily the worst thing about that (pretty iffy) film. He just plays Will Smith and advertises Converse shoes. Tom Cruise, however, can act. Collateral (as someone mentioned) was his last good film. But he gets an easier time from me because he was excellent in Magnolia, Eyes Wide Shut and A Few Good (shouty!) Men. As a race fan I'd have liked to see more race action, but two very good leads, played off each other was by Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Bruhl, the latter who I thought was outstanding as Lauda. She looks like she has a cool personality/sense of humour and that makes her much more attractive IMHO.
