PaulC
Really I think they will win everything. PSG could be a threat in the champions league though

Dr_Pangloss
Even if Barca sign Coutinho and Dembele they are still going to get absolutely dismantled by Madrid and any top side in Europe. IMO Dembele will not deliver what Neymar did any time soon, but fundamentally Barcelona have a shambolic defence, lacking quality at centre half and fullback, as well as not having the sort of central midfield options Madrid have. In addition I think Valverde is a terrible choice, he's had a good career granted but will be out of his depth in this job.

Coutinho will give them something extra but Dembele is just potential at the moment. probably be two years before they get the best out of him. sne
Barca fans haven't really embraced the £40m signing of Paulinho yet Quote BARCELONA SELL NO PAULINHO SHIRTS AT NEW SIGNING'S UNVEILING Thursday's shirt sales appear to indicate a lack of enthusiasm for the Brazilian signing, who was unveiled at the Camp Nou Thursday's shirt sales appear to indicate a lack of enthusiasm for the Brazilian signing, who was unveiled at the Camp Nou It would appear Barcelona fans aren't overly enthused by the signing of Paulinho. The Blaugrana formally introduced the Brazilian midfielder as their latest signing at Camp Nou on Thursday following a €40 million move from Chinese side Guangzhou Evergrande. While the Barca team store at the stadium is packed with personalized jerseys featuring Lionel Messi's No.10, Luis Suarez's No.9 and Andres Iniesta's No.8, Paulinho's No.15 was nowhere to be found. And though fans have the option of asking for a custom-made shirt with any name and number, team store employees admitted to Goal that no one has asked for a Paulinho jersey yet. So following up the world-record sale of Neymar by signing a former Tottenham flop apparently doesn't generate much buzz among the fan base. VillaChris
Yeah looks like 9.15pm is a new kick off time this season. Reminds me of that Liverpool cup game we had years ago but it's part of the culture there, they have plenty of games finishing close to midday and then they go for their evening meal. Zatman
Yeah 9.15 is normal time kick off over Spain, they usually have 9pm kick off as it is barcelona played a game a 00.05 before to get over international duty
VillaChris
Big shock brewing...Girona 2 up at home to Atletico Madrid. I think they'll stay up, signed likes of Stuani and Marc Munisea to go with their promotion squad. Also got 3 on loan from Man. City as they've got a link up between the clubs. PaulC
Messi looked really fed-up yesterday. When you have a player that couldn't even make the Everton first team start for them it shows how far Barcelona have sunk.

PaulC
or sign for Man City One man team now anyway. he deserves to be paid 10 times more than the rest of the crap there, apart from Suarez Edited August 21, 2017 by PaulC

PaulC
Who is going to finish 4th this season? Villareal have lost their first two games. Sevilla look poor Just as I wrote that Sevilla score Edited August 27, 2017 by PaulC
Zatman
Sevilla midfield is Navas, Krohn Delhi, Ganso and Nolito awful for a 2017 midfield, good players maybe in 2012
VillaChris
Really liking Real Sociedad this season, they'd be my tip. Eusebio done a great job there after Moyes bored the Anoeta to tears and they play a really entertaining style. Got players all over the team who can score. They weren't far off top 4 last season.
