Probably, but unless the exact same thing happened in the exact same game with exactly the same ref we can't say.

It was probably the right decision.

It’s supposed not to be re-refereeing the game. The ref clearly saw it so why send him? It’s also inconsistent as Tsimikas did the same thing against Fulham and there wasn’t a review and a disallowed goal.

There's no advantage to play, the initial foul was committed by an attacking player whose team kept the ball

Eh? He went straight through the back of him and got nowhere near the ball. 

I would be utterly furious if that happened to us. 

Not sure why the ref took so long to review it. Clear as day an obvious foul. 

Perfect example of VAR actually doing what it's supposed to. 

Obviously reverse it and Liverpool get given the penno regardless mind.
