Was just about to post this. Wish he'd be more aggressive with some of his shots as he can clearly whack it. Though that one of course fell absolutely perfectly for him.

That's because Tonev never managed to get one on target.

If we had a fully fit Ramsey, Buendia and Diaby, who would start? (Assuming Waka Waka and Oli are starting)

Erm, Ramsey obviously.

That isn't a difficult question on what we've seen in a Villa shirt so far.

One of his better efforts is now orbiting Mars

Actually it just collided with Carew’s penalty kick vs Newcastle so has fallen out of synchronous orbit.

A lot of stick for consistency but of his 6 assists, 3 of them led to late equalizers and can’t forget his assist for the winner late against Luton.

Very important late game contributions.

Only just noticed that the French didn't call him up

Called up uncapped Barcola instead

He’s coming off the back of a rubbish season.

Signings at this cost that go wrong mean we have to sell players like Luiz.

I sincerely hope this is a wind up.

Why would it be a wind up

Rubbish season for a guy who had a very positive season for a first time in England. He hasn’t been called up to France because they have utterly mental depth and we aren’t fashionable.

Provided better numbers than Jack ever did for us, had periods where he looked world class, had slumps as every new player to this league does but overall to call his first season ‘rubbish’ is embarrassing even for a wind up merchant.

I don’t know what your angle is, you seem to have irrational agendas against some players which cannot be shifted even against a landslide of statistical evidence all the while trying to justify players like Coutinho as “class”.

It’s exhausting. Support the f**king players.

This is complete nonsense and I can’t believe you don’t know that.

He’s the most expensive player in the clubs history and he was benched 10 games in and barely made the side when we had injuries. Was mostly rubbish in every game since October ‘23.

Rogers, who cost 1/5th of his price tag is miles better.
