Summer Transfer Window 2023

I don't want us to sign players for the sake of signing them. Need to get the right players in of course. But I can't help but feel if the window shut today we've left ourselves quite light whilst letting Ramsey and Archer go who could have done a job in our squad. Obviously window isn't closed but i'm still hoping for a couple in addition to Lenglet

If you have a great girlfriend do you still pine for every other girl?

We've had a solid window and made some great signings.

Your lack of faith in Unai's judgement is quite affronting!

I would have loved fati but subjectively we have bought Diaby who is as good as any right sided attacker that has been bought anywhere this summer.

Fati to Brighton is not good. He'll do great there, wish we were in for him.

Is he any good ?  I’ve never seen him play , but he’s  a 1 in 4 scorer  playing for an elite team in a league where half the teams are championship level , doesn’t sound like we should be too upset about Brighton spending Chelsea’s money on him

Surprised Brighton are paying Fati's wages or even half. Didn't think they had players on big money.

Got serious money burning a hole in their pocket. Might as well do something with it.

It is an interesting divergence from the “model”. Will be interesting if it can kick them on as I’m sure they’ll be hoping.

Yeah they can certainly afford it, just surprised they're veering from their model slightly as you say.

I read up on Fati when we were linked the other day. His injury problems are horrendous and the surgery he had (after 4 attempts) resulted in a full removal of the “meniscus” cartilage in his knee. So although now he can play again after missing most of 2 seasons he now has a permanently altered knee structure, probably resulting in ongoing associated injuries for the rest of his career. Surprised he’s going to Brighton but that’s probably why a lot of clubs have shied away from doing a deal, a player of his reputation you’d have thought would have a host of top clubs after him

DiMarzio has 1.8 million followers... And why in gods name have you been so miserable on transfers recently?

You've just said " just post Keinan Davis off to Udinese. Done " sarcastically insinuating people are just posting Bollox for the sake of it, when you never made the effort to even ratify the information yourself ffs 😂
