The Fun Factory
Just looked at Villareal's record in more detail. For a small club its pretty impressive. They have finished in the top 8 of la liga 16 out of the last 19 years. Though they did get relegated once. Runners up once, third once and 2 fourth places. AV82
Trusted sources close to Villarreal are saying we are definitely interested and they're waiting to see what Emery decides. He's considering us. Edited October 24, 2022 by AV82

AV82
He might not be Poch but it's hard to not get excited when the other names in the ring are Frank and Dyche. 4 times Europa League winner? Sounds like someone we needed after MON left. Edited October 24, 2022 by AV82

His Sevilla team were also always amongst the top scorers in the league as well, one season third top scorers, and when he was Arsenal manager only Man City and Liverpool scored more. This is as top quality manager we could attract and isnt some Rafa type that was good 15 years ago A Manager, who would command the respect of players, based on his actual Managerial achievements as well. Ive started thinking this type of respect is more relevant and consistent in a dressing room, than say the respect a former player might get . dudevillaisnice
Emery would be great in my opinion, I’m surprised if he does come and I would see it as a coup. My guess is he feels he has unfinished business in the PL.

Vive_La_Villa
I like Emery because his success has been at a club of similar size and stature in Seville and to some extents Villareal. PSG is an impossible job for most managers and Arsenal are just delusional.
stewiek2
Nas I'm sure knows him from his time at Arsenal, I guess that is a factor. The rumour that the two met in Spain last week.
