When buying top 6 level or top 6 level potential players it’s the wages that will restrict the club going forwards. We’ve obviously tried but have been rejected. However unlike before and having to settle for the leftovers we’re going to have to try again in the summer but this time there’ll probably be more in the way of contingencies available. As has been stated, to try and get our top targets in the summer if clubs have asked too much or are reluctant to sell now. Or in the case of Delefeou, if injuries have played a part.
