Why are people upset about this?

Couldn't care less about International football let alone a corrupt one.

Aston Villa is the only thing that matter. He will get a pre season with Emery. Win win.

You prefer the corrupt club game do you?😄

Premier League clubs haven't killed workers to build their stadiums.

But let's no go into this topic in here.

I'll trust your judgement but if this is a House Of The Dragon reference, I haven't watched it.

Because it will boost our international profile to sign other similarly rated players

The cons far outways the pros for me.

Imagine vital players coming back heavily fatigued and possibly long term injured.

Had it been a normal World Cup in the summer things would have been different.

But based on the time and who the host is I don't see any negatives here for our players not going.

Honestly I couldn't care less.

Well I meant in general not just this World Cup. This is a bit of a mess

In general I agree although I've never really cared much for International football as It's a bit of a borefest imo.

One big plus for us last night was Kamara. Looked great despite being out for several weeks and playing in a congested midfield, constantly pressured by the opposition. He pressed without fouling, allowing us to nick the ball back a few times, and then had the composure to find the right pass. Going forward Kamara + Luiz/Dendoncker/Iroegbunam looks very strong.

France must have a hell of a team if this bloke cannot make the squad (even if he is not 100% fit yet).
