But there likely is an agreed price £30m or so which Villa are trying to get down a bit. Maybe they are also haggling out a % Barca will take on for the remainder of Coutinhos contract after he signs like they did with Suarez to Atletico. Just can't see us paying Coutinho anything close to what he's on at Barca and would Coutinho be willing to give up almost £200k/w for the year he has left on his Barca contract just to get away from there? Barca might be back in the money now after the Spotify deal but they are still in massive debt and still has a comical salary bill that needs to be reduced for them to be allowed to register players in the summer. They already have some deals done but cant afford then atm due to the La Liga salary rules. Not sure we have an exclusive deal thou.
